It is designed for electrically powered pedelecs, suitable for fat bikes and all-terrain bikes intended for off-road use on gravel or sand. Please note that this motor is not intended for competitive sports.

Specifications

The Bafang H550 motor features a rated power of 750W and a rated voltage of 48V. It is IP66 waterproof and certified with CE-EMC. The operating temperature range is from -20°C to 45°C. The motor has a shockproof coating and color options are available based on customer orders.

Storage Information

For optimal storage, the pedelec should be kept in a ventilated, dry room. It is advised to avoid storing the unit near strong magnetic objects to prevent potential interference or damage.

Maintenance

Maintenance procedures must be performed by authorized personnel using the correct equipment. Disassembly of the motor is not permitted. To clean the components, avoid using thinners or other solvents, as these can damage the surfaces. Ensure the components are protected from water submersion and avoid using high-pressure cleaning jets. For extended periods of non-use, turn off the battery and store the unit away from heat sources.
