Unpacking and Initial Setup
This guide provides instructions for unpacking and installing your Samsung television. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure a smooth setup process.
- Step 1: Unpacking
Carefully open the packaging and remove the television screen and all included accessories. Ensure all components are present before proceeding.
- Step 2: Attaching the Stand
Attach the TV stand to the bottom of the television screen. This typically involves securing the stand components (labeled A and B in diagrams) using the provided screws. Ensure the stand is firmly attached before moving the TV.
- Step 3: Identifying Ports and Clearance
Familiarize yourself with the ports located on the rear of the TV. These commonly include:
- ? USB
- ? LAN
- ? HDMI (eARC)
- ? ANT (Antenna)
For optimal placement, especially when wall-mounting, maintain a clearance of approximately 0.98 inches (25 mm or 2.5 cm) from the wall to allow for ventilation and cable management.
- Step 4: Placement and Mounting Preparation
Prepare the TV for its final location. This involves either attaching the stand for placement on a flat surface (options shown for 43"-50" and 55"-70" screen sizes) or preparing for wall mounting. If wall-mounting, ensure you use a compatible wall mount bracket. Diagrams illustrate the correct orientation for stand attachment and indicate checks (✔️) for proper assembly and potential issues (❌).
