Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Problem: No Sound or Weak Voice
- Status: Receiver LCD display off, or receiver LCD display is off. Transmitter display shows no RF signal, receiver signal indicator does not light up.
- Solutions:
- Ensure the receiver power is on.
- Check battery installation (+/- orientation) and replace with fresh batteries.
- Verify power adapter connection to the outlet and the receiver.
- Check if the power outlet is functioning.
- Position the receiver antenna vertically.
- Remove obstacles between the transmitter and receiver.
- Move the transmitter closer to the receiver.
- Ensure the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency.
- Lower the maximum volume setting.
- Problem: Distortion or Excess Burst Noise
- Status: The transmitter display shows RF signal, but there is no sound, or the receiver display shows RF signal but sound is distorted.
- Solutions:
- Check for and eliminate nearby sources of interference (e.g., CD players, computers, digital devices, other wireless systems).
- Check if the battery is low and replace it.
- If using multiple systems, increase the frequency interval between them.
