Introduction & Classification
This device measures body temperature by collecting infrared thermal radiation from a human forehead. It is designed for quick, accurate, simple, and convenient operation.
Scope of Use: Measuring forehead thermal radiation to determine body temperature.
Fundamental Working Principles
Objects emit infrared thermal radiation based on their surface temperature. This thermometer uses a high-precision infrared sensor to detect this radiation (wavelength 5-14um) and calculates human body temperature accurately.
Product Features
- Stable and reliable high-precision infrared sensor.
- Adaptable to various environmental temperatures.
- Automatically saves the last measured temperature.
- Offers measurement in Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
- Auto power-off to conserve battery life.
Measurement Method
Measuring Body Temperature: Ensure the mode is set to 'Body'. Aim the thermometer at the forehead (1-5cm distance). Press the measurement key. A "di" sound indicates measurement. The LCD screen color changes based on temperature (Green: Normal, Orange: Low Fever, Red: High Fever).
Measuring Surface Temperature: Ensure the mode is set to 'Surface'. Point the thermometer at the object (1-5cm distance). Press the measurement key. A "di" sound indicates measurement.
Tips: Keep the sensor clean, store in a stable environment, and allow the thermometer to acclimate to drastic temperature changes before use. Avoid measuring immediately after strenuous activity or bathing.
Maintenance and Precautions
- Keep the sensor and probe clean using a soft cloth or alcohol wipes.
- Read the manual carefully before use.
- Do not immerse the thermometer in liquid or expose it to extreme temperatures.
- Avoid collisions and do not disassemble the device.
- Familiarize yourself with measurement methods.
- Measurements are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis.
- Contact the seller or manufacturer for assistance.
- Dispose of the product responsibly according to local regulations.
Troubleshooting
