Getting Started

Before using this device, fully charge it. Charging instructions are on page 6.

Open the charging case and place the earbuds in your ears. The earbuds will pair automatically, indicated by blinking lights.

Pairing

1. Go to Bluetooth® Settings on your mobile device.
2. Turn Bluetooth® ON on your device.
3. Select "iHome XT-89" from the list of available devices.
4. Earbud indicator LEDs will flash once to confirm connection.

Basic Functions

Right Earbud:

• Single tap: Play/Pause audio.
• Double tap: Skip to next track.
• Long press (2 sec): Activate Transparent ANC mode.
• Long press (2 sec): Activate Total ANC mode.
• Long press (2 sec): Deactivate ANC modes.

Note: ANC modes consume more battery.

Left Earbud:

• Single tap: Play/Pause audio.
• Double tap: Skip to previous track.
• Long press (2 sec): Activate low-latency Gaming mode.
• Long press (2 sec): Deactivate Gaming mode (return to music mode).

Phone calls:

When a call comes in, playback pauses. To answer, single tap the control surface. To end a call, tap again. To reject a call, double tap.

Using Siri or Google Assistant

Triple tap the control surface on either earbud to activate your device's voice assistant (ensure it's enabled on your device).

Turning On and Off

Earbuds turn on automatically when removed from the case and off when returned. To manually turn off, press and hold the control surface for 5 seconds. To turn on manually, press and hold for 3 seconds.

Troubleshooting

Earbuds not syncing or disconnected:

1. Turn off both earbuds (press control surface for 5 seconds).
2. Turn them back on simultaneously (press control surface for 3 seconds).
3. If issues persist, place earbuds in the case, close, then reopen.
4. Remove earbuds, press and hold both control surfaces for 3 seconds to force a reset and resync.
5. Reattempt pairing.

Earbuds not pairing to device:

1. Manually turn off the earbuds.
2. Place earbuds in the case. Turn your device's Bluetooth® OFF and then ON again.
3. Reattempt pairing.

Charging

1. Place the earbuds in the case.
2. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging case port and a USB 5V/1A power source.

The LED display shows charging status (blinking). The earbud lights glow steadily while charging and turn off when fully charged or the case is unplugged.

The LED display shows "100" and stops blinking when the case is fully charged.

Promptly unplug the case when fully charged.

To charge earbuds from the case battery, simply place them in the case.

Warnings

• Do not use for unintended purposes.
• Do not puncture, throw, drop, bend, or modify.
• Do not expose to fire or water.
• Do not short-circuit the battery with metal objects.
• Do not expose to corrosive liquids (e.g., salt water).
• Do not operate if wet to prevent shock or damage.
• Keep away from children; not a toy, choking hazard.
• Avoid leaving device in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures (below 32°F or above 140°F).
• Repairs should only be performed by qualified electricians.
• Protect hearing by listening at safe volumes to prevent hearing loss.
• Use only with the provided charging case.
• Use only a USB 5V/1A or higher charger.
• Charge at least once a month to maintain battery life.

Warranty

Bytech NY INC. warrants this product to be materially free from defects and workmanship for 12 months from the original purchase date. Bytech's responsibility is limited to repair or replacement at its option for any product that fails during normal consumer use. This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation, or maintenance.

If the product fails due to defects in material or workmanship within the 12-month period, return the defective product (freight prepaid) with proof of purchase.
