Product Overview

This Hot Wheels City playset offers multiple ways to play, including a car wash with color-changing features and an Octo-themed launch mechanism. It connects to other Hot Wheels tracks and sets for expanded play.

Assembly Instructions

The playset requires adult assembly. Follow the numbered steps and diagrams provided in the manual to build the Tower, Car Wash Station, Loop, and Octo components. Ensure all parts are correctly aligned using the molded letters on the parts.

Tower Assembly

Connect parts A1, A2, A3, and A4 to form the tower structure. This is a one-time assembly.

Car Wash Assembly

Assemble the car wash station using parts B1 through B7. This section includes the car lift and the wash areas.

Loop Assembly

Connect parts C1 through C9 to create the loop track.

Octo Assembly

Assemble the Octo-themed launcher using parts D1 through D16. This includes the Octo's body and tentacles.

Final Assembly

Combine all assembled sections to complete the playset.

How to Play

Color Reveal & Color Change:

Fill the main tank with warm water (33°C-40°C / 86°F-104°F).
Place Color Reveal™ or Color Shifter cars into the car wash.
Drive the car through the wash. The water and foam will reveal or change the car's color.
For the Octo's color-changing feature, fill the Octo's head with icy water (under 10°C / 50°F) and ice cubes.
Push the Octo's arm down to launch the car.
Pump the arm several times to squirt water.
Use the knob to race the car down the track.
Add more cars for continuous color-changing fun.

Important Notes:

Overfilling reservoirs may cause leakage.
Do not use water hotter than 48°C (120°F) to avoid burns.
For best color change results, use icy water under 10°C (50°F).
Change warm water frequently for optimal color shifting.
Do not microwave hot water containers.
Water toys can make a mess; protect play surfaces.
Parents should assist with filling tanks.
Only use Color Reveal™ and Color Shifter cars.
Color change effects last longer if the toy is not exposed to intense heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
The Color Reveal™ layer cannot be reversed once washed off.

Storage

Drain, rinse, clean, and thoroughly dry all items before storing. Do not immerse the entire set in water.
