ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WIFI Quick Start Guide

This guide provides instructions for installing and setting up your ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WIFI motherboard.

Step 1: Install the CPU

Instructions for installing the CPU into the motherboard socket. This involves opening the CPU socket lever, aligning the CPU with the socket, and closing the lever.

Step 2: Install the CPU fan

Instructions for installing the CPU cooler and fan. This typically involves attaching a mounting bracket to the motherboard and then securing the cooler to the bracket.

Step 3: Install memory modules

Instructions for installing RAM modules into the DIMM slots. Ensure modules are inserted correctly into DIMM_A1, DIMM_A2, DIMM_B1, and DIMM_B2 slots as indicated.

Step 4: Install storage devices

Instructions for installing storage devices. For M.2 installation, please refer to the user guide. Note: Remove screws and retention module only; do not remove the bottom plate.

Step 5: Install expansion card(s)

Instructions for installing expansion cards, such as graphics cards or network cards, into the appropriate PCIe slots.

Step 6: Install the system panel connector

Instructions for connecting the front panel connectors (power switch, reset switch, HDD LED, power LED) to the motherboard headers.

Step 7: Install ATX power connectors

Instructions for connecting the ATX power supply connectors to the motherboard. This includes the main 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin or 4+4-pin CPU power connector.

Step 8: Connect input/output devices

Instructions for connecting external devices such as monitors, keyboards, mice, and audio devices to the rear I/O panel.

Step 9: Power on the system and install operating system and drivers

Instructions for powering on the system for the first time and installing the operating system and necessary drivers for the motherboard components.
