Setting Up Your Router
Step 1: Power On
When powered up, your router will broadcast both 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi signals with the SSIDs: GL-SFT1200-xxx and GL-SFT1200-xxx-5G.
The router is shown with a power cable connected to its power port.
Step 2: Connect to Network
You can connect either via Wi-Fi or LAN: Connect to the Wi-Fi network named GL-SFT1200-xxx. The default Wi-Fi password is 'goodlife', which is also printed on the bottom of the router. A representation of a Wi-Fi connection screen displays the network name (SSID) 'GL-SFT1200-xxx' and a field for entering the password. Step 3: Set Up Router
Open your web browser and visit http://192.168.8.1. You can then start setting up your router by choosing your preferred language.

Router Indicators and Ports

Repair / Reset Procedures
- Network Repair: Press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds, then release. The indicator light will turn blue and flash slowly until your network recovers.
- Factory Reset: Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds, then release. The indicator light will turn blue and flash rapidly. All data will be cleared when the light becomes solid blue.

Warranty Information
GL.iNet provides a one-year limited warranty for routers and a three-month limited warranty for accessories. Additional warranty may apply according to local laws.
