Notices
This section details regulatory compliance statements, including those from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Canadian Department of Communications.
Federal Communications Commission Statement: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: it must not cause harmful interference, and it must accept any interference received. The equipment has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits, designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. If interference occurs, users are encouraged to reorient the antenna, increase separation, use a different circuit, or consult a dealer/technician. Shielded cables are required for compliance. Unauthorized modifications may void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Canadian Department of Communications Statement: This digital apparatus does not exceed Class B limits for radio noise emissions and complies with Canadian ICES-003 and Interference-Causing Equipment Regulations.
Safety Information
Before setup, read all documentation. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the monitor to rain or moisture. Never open the monitor cabinet due to high voltage. If the power supply is broken, contact a qualified service technician. Ensure all cables are correctly connected and undamaged. Ventilation slots on the back/top should not be blocked; avoid placing near radiators. Operate only from the indicated power source type and use the appropriate local power plug. Do not overload power strips or extension cords. Avoid dust, humidity, and temperature extremes. Unplug during lightning storms or long periods of non-use. Never insert objects or spill liquids into slots. Use only with UL-listed computers with appropriate receptacles (100-240V AC). The socket-outlet should be easily accessible. Contact a qualified servicer for technical problems. Ensure an earthing connection before connecting the mains plug. Use the ADP-90LE BA adapter. Confirm building installation provides a circuit breaker rated 120/240V, 20A (maximum). Use the 3-pin attachment plug with a grounded outlet; do not disable the grounding pin. Stability Hazard: The product may fall, causing serious injury or death. Securely attach to floor/wall per installation instructions. Take precautions to avoid injuries, especially to children, by using recommended cabinets/stands, ensuring furniture safely supports the product, avoiding overhanging edges, educating children about climbing dangers, routing cables safely, and never placing the product in an unstable location or on tall furniture without anchoring. If relocating, apply the same considerations.
WARNING: Usage of non-specified headphones/earphones can result in hearing loss due to excessive sound pressures.
Restriction on Hazardous Substances statement (India): Complies with India E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016, prohibiting Lead, Mercury, Hexavalent Chromium, PBBs, and PBDEs above specified limits, and Cadmium above 0.01%.
Prevent Tipping
To prevent the monitor from falling, fasten it to a wall using a cord or chain that can support its weight. Installation should be done by a qualified technician. For models with net weight >=7kg, select a suitable anti-tipping method. For VESA Mount models, use method 1 (screws with ring to VESA Mount hole, then tie cord/chain to wall). Otherwise, use method 2 (tie cord/chain to stand and fix to wall).
Diagram Description: Two diagrams illustrate methods for securing the monitor to a wall using a cord or chain attached to either the VESA mount or the stand, with screws indicated.
Care & Cleaning
Before lifting or repositioning, disconnect cables and power cord. Grasp the monitor by its edges, not the stand or cord. Clean the monitor surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Stubborn stains can be removed with a cloth dampened with mild cleaner. Avoid cleaners with alcohol or acetone; use LCD-specific cleaners. Never spray cleaner directly on the screen. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates the product should not be disposed of as municipal waste; check local regulations for electronic product disposal.
Normal Monitor Symptoms: Screen may flicker initially (turn power off/on to resolve). Brightness may appear uneven depending on the desktop pattern. An afterimage may remain after displaying the same image for hours (screen will recover slowly or after power off). If the screen turns black, flashes, or stops working, contact service; do not attempt self-repair.
