Setup
Power Up
1. Insert the 5.0 volt power cord into the outlet and then into the clock.
2. (Optional) Insert 2 "AA" batteries (not included) into the clock.
Note: The clock will search for atomic time 2 hours after batteries are installed.

Configure Basic Settings
Hold the [MODE] button for 3 seconds to enter the settings menu. Use the [+] or [-] buttons to adjust values and the [SET] button to confirm each setting.
Setting Order:
- Language (English or Spanish)
- Beep ON/OFF
- Atomic ON/OFF
- Time Zone
- DST ON/OFF
- 12/24 Hour
- Hour
- Minutes
- Year
- Month
- Date
- Fahrenheit/Celsius
Note: When Español is selected, sub-menu instructions will be in Spanish.
Note: When the Atomic setting is OFF, the menu will skip to item #6 (12/24 hour setting).

Time Setting Details

Atomic Time
- The clock will automatically search for the atomic time signal at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
- If there is no WWVB reception, the clock will search for the atomic time signal every 2 hours until the WWVB time is received.
- After reception, this clock will only search for the atomic signal after midnight.
- From the normal time display, hold the [MINUS] button for 3 seconds to manually search for the WWVB time signal.

Display Icons
The clock displays various icons to indicate status:
- AM | PM: Indicates AM or PM.
- Atomic Time: [Radio wave symbol] Indicates the atomic time signal is active or searching.
- Low Battery: [Battery symbol ?] Appears between the hour and minutes, indicating it's time to replace batteries.
- Alarm: ? Indicates the alarm is set.
- Snooze: ? Indicates the alarm is in snooze mode.
- Fahrenheit | Celsius: Displays temperature in °F or °C.

Display: Date | Indoor Temp | Seconds
Press and release the [MODE] button to customize how the top and right sections of the clock are displayed. The clock will remain in the selected mode.
- MODE 1: Weekday & Month/Date
- MODE 2: Day/Month/Date & Temperature
- MODE 3: Day/Month/Date & Seconds

Set Time Alarm
- Hold the [ALARM] button for 3 seconds to enter the alarm settings menu.
- Use the [+] or [-] buttons to adjust the hour and minutes, and the [ALARM] button to confirm.

Activate/Deactivate Alarm
- Hold the [ALARM] button to enter alarm settings. "AL" will show.
- Press and release the [ALARM] button to activate or deactivate the alarm.
- The bell icon (?) will show when the alarm is active.

Snooze
- When the alarm sounds, press the [SNOOZE] button to silence it for 10 minutes.
- The alarm bell icon (?) will show, and "Zz" (?) will flash.
- Press any button except [SNOOZE] to stop the alarm for 1 day.
Note: The alarm has a crescendo sound. When the alarm sounds, it continues for 2 minutes and then shuts off completely.
Backlight: HI-LOW-OFF
- When operating with the AC adapter, the backlight is adjustable (HI-LOW-OFF).
- Press and release the [SNOOZE/LIGHT HI-LOW-OFF] button to adjust the backlight.
- When operating on batteries only, the backlight will come on briefly when the [SNOOZE] button is pressed.

Low Battery Icon
- The low battery icon (?) will appear between the hour and minutes.
- This icon indicates it is time to replace the batteries.
Position Clock
The clock has a pullout stand to sit on a desk or table, or openings on the back to mount on a wall.
- For best Atomic time reception, orientate the clock with the front or the back facing Ft. Collins, Colorado.
- Choose a location 6 feet or more from electronics such as cordless phones, gaming systems, televisions, microwaves, routers, etc.

Care and Maintenance
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix Alkaline, Standard, Lithium, or Rechargeable Batteries.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries are installed with correct polarity (+ and -).
- Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
- Promptly remove expired batteries.
