QUICK START GUIDE
Easy steps to use your steam espresso machine
INITIAL SET UP
- Make sure the function knob is in the OFF ? position.
- Plug the unit into a 120V AC electrical outlet. The POWER light should be OFF ?.
- Remove water tank safety lid by turning it counter-clockwise.
BREWING
- Fill glass carafe with 2 or 4 cups of cold water (use markings as a guide). Pour water into tank and turn safety lid clockwise until sealed tight.
- Remove the filter basket by firmly grasping the handle and turning it to the left until the filter basket holder releases.
- Scoop medium grind espresso into the filter basket. Fill to the 2- or 4-cup markings inside the filter. Gently tamp.
NOTE: DO NOT fill past the 4 cup marker, it may disrupt the brewing process. - Align filter basket holder with slots under the machine's brew head and firmly turn to the right to lock in place.
WARNING: Ensure to completely align the filter basket handle with the locked position icon ⚠️ as shown below. Failure to do so could result in serious injury and damage to the machine during the brewing process. - Place lid on carafe and return it to drip tray. Align hole in lid under filter nozzle.
- Turn the function knob to ESPRESSO ☕. The POWER light will illuminate and the unit will begin to build steam. Espresso brewing will begin within approximately 2 minutes.
- At the end of the brewing cycle, turn the function knob to OFF ?. The POWER light will turn off. Unplug the unit after every use.
- Turn the function knob to STEAM ♨️. If steam comes out of the steam wand, then the water reservoir is still under pressure. When the steam wand stops releasing steam, turn the function knob to the OFF ? position.
- Remove the water reservoir cap and the filter basket holder.
WARNING: Do not remove water reservoir cap or brew basket until pressure is completely relieved. Failure to do so could result in serious injury.
