FTI-STK1: Vehicle Coverage and Preparation Notes
Product Information
Product: FTI-STK1
Manufacturer: Firstech, LLC.
Support: 1(888) 820-3690, EXT. 203
Vehicle Compatibility
Make | Model | Year | Install Type | CAN | IMMO | BCM | Clutch I/O Changes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Subaru | Legacy STD KEY AT (USA) - DL-SUB9 | 2020-2024 | Type 3 (20-Pin) | Type A | DSD | N/A | Green White/Blue (N/A) |
Preparation and Required Accessories
This installation requires the BLADE-AL-SUB9 firmware, Weblink Hub, and ACC RFID1. Ensure the module firmware is updated before programming the BLADE module to the vehicle. Follow RFID programming directions prior to BLADE module programming.
CAN Connection: Type 3 CAN connections utilize the 20-Pin BCM adapter and require connecting the white 2-pin connectors at marker [D] in the wiring illustration.
Immobilizer Connection: Type A IMMO requires connecting the white male and female 2-pin connectors at marker [C] in the wiring illustration.
Lights Connection: Parking lights are pre-wired in the FTI-STK1 harness. The green/white wire of the CM I/O connector should be replaced with the pre-terminated green/white wire from the harness.
ACC-RFID1 (REQUIRED): The SUB9 firmware does not provide immobilizer data; an ACC-RFID1 is necessary for remote start functionality.
2nd START: The FTI-STK1 harness includes a pre-wired red/black 2nd START output (not applicable for TYPE 1). To prevent short circuits, cut and insulate this wire if not in use.
I/O Changes: No I/O changes are required for this installation.
Advisory 1: Program the ACC-RFID1 before attempting to program the BLADE module to the vehicle.
Advisory 2: Secure all 2-pin connections, both used and unused, to the main harness body.

Module Programming Procedure
This procedure requires the Weblink HUB.
- Cartridge Installation: Slide the cartridge into the unit. Note the button located under the LED.
- Key Preparation: Remove the primary OEM key (Key 1) from the keychain.
- Keyfob Proximity: Ensure all other keyfobs are placed at least 1 foot away from the Weblink HUB to prevent interference or damage during the keyfob reading process.
- Module Flashing: Connect the module to the Weblink HUB and flash it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the keyfob reading process.
- Vehicle Connection: Connect power to the module first, then connect the module to the vehicle. WARNING: Do not press the module programming button.
- Ignition Cycle: Using the primary OEM key (Key 1), turn the vehicle's ignition to the ON position.
- Confirmation: Wait for the module's LED to turn solid BLUE for approximately 2 seconds.
- Completion: Turn the vehicle's ignition key to the OFF position.
- The module programming procedure is now complete.
