1. Product Details
The COCOCAM Wireless PTZ Security Camera is a versatile surveillance device. It features a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) mechanism for adjustable viewing angles, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a rechargeable battery.

- PIR Sensor: Detects motion.
- Spotlight: Provides illumination.
- Charging Indicator: Shows charging status.
- Microphone: Captures audio.
- Lens: The primary optical component for image capture.
- Power Button: Used to turn the device on/off and wake it from standby.

2. Install Camera
Please fix the bracket securely before installing the camera.
- For wooden walls: Use the provided nails to fix the bracket to the wall.
- For cement or ceramic tile walls: Use an electric drill to create a hole in the wall and then install the bracket using the provided expansion screws.
Mounting Options:
- Ceiling installation: The bracket can be mounted to a ceiling.
- Wall mounting: The bracket can be mounted to a wall.
3. Install Cococam App
Search for "Cococam" in your mobile device's app store or on Google Play to download and install the application.
App Permissions:
When using the app for the first time, please ensure the following permissions are enabled:
- Mobile Cellular Data and Wireless LAN: Required to add the camera to your network.
- Push Messages: Allows the phone to receive notifications for motion detection or audible alarms.
Account Registration and Support:
- Register Account: New users need to register by email. Click "Register" and follow the on-screen steps to complete registration and log in.
- Help and Feedback: For product issues or questions, please email service@cococamtech.com with your product model number. Responses are typically provided within 24 hours. A headset icon ? represents the Help & Feedback section.
4. Switch on Camera
Press the power button for five seconds to turn the camera on. If the camera does not power on, plug in the DC5V 1A/2A power adapter and charge the camera for at least 15 minutes before trying again.
5. Add Camera
Before Using:
- Please insert the Micro SD card before powering on the device. If not inserted, the SD card may not be detected.
- Ensure your camera and phone are within 1 to 3 feet (30 to 100cm) of the router for optimal Wi-Fi connection.
- Note: The camera does not support 5G networks; please use a 2.4G network.
App Setup Steps:
- Add Device: In the app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Select Device: Choose "Battery Camera" from the list of device types.
- Switch on Camera: Hold the device power button to start the camera. If the device is asleep, press the "Battery Camera" button to wake it up. Ensure the device is near the router.
- Reset Device: Hold the RESET button on your device for 4-5 seconds until a flashing RED indicator light appears.
- Input Wi-Fi Password: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Tips: Please reconfirm your Wi-Fi account and password are correct. Example: WIFI name: QSG, WIFI password: ct123456.
- Scan QR Code: Remove any protective film from the camera lens. Tap "Next" to display a QR code on your phone screen. Hold your phone 5-8 inches from the camera lens to scan the code.
- Wait for Connection: Ensure the device is powered on, connected to the router, and that both the device and phone are on the same network.
- Device Added: The app will indicate "Connection successful" and "Add Successful".
