Quick Start Guide
The Bulldog-JW Starter Kit is a Leak Detection & Prevention Solution that “Just Works".
- Install the Bulldog motor assembly over your water shutoff ball valve (See Mounting/Valve Install Guide).
- Connect the Motor Assembly to the Control Module.
- Plug in the AC Adapter and connect it to the Control Module.
- Position the Sensors in leak-sensitive locations.
- Done!

Leak Alarm Reset
- Click On/Off Reset Button (Speaker)
- Click On/Off Valve Open/Close Button (once or twice)
Adding ELS100 Leak Sensors
- The Green button is the Leak Sensor Pairing Button (indicated by a green indicator with a directional arrow).
- Adding/Pairing Leak Sensors: Click the Green button On/Off, then activate the leak sensor for 2 Beep Cycles.
- Click Alarm Reset, repeat the above process for additional Leak Sensors.
Exclude All Leak Sensors
- All paired Leak Sensors can be removed (Excluded) by holding the green button for approximately 5 seconds until a red blink acknowledgment is received.
WIFI Pairing to eWeLink App
- Install, set up an account, and log in to the eWeLink App.
- The Valve Icon is the WIFI Pairing Button.
- Blue LED Status: Slow Single Blink, pause, indicates not paired and not broadcasting.
- Blink, blink, blink, pause, repeat, indicates ready to be paired (Quick Pairing mode).
- A 2.4GHz Network is required, and your Smart Phone should be connected to this 2.4GHz Network.
- If the device is not in pairing mode, hold the Valve Icon button for approximately 4 seconds to set it to pairing mode.
- On your smartphone, in the eWeLink App, use the "+" icon and follow the instructions for "Quick Pairing".
- The App should acknowledge successful pairing within 20-90 seconds.
- Rename the Bulldog valve appropriately (e.g., “Water Main”).
- In the device settings menu (select device, then the settings menu represented by three dots), update "Power-on State" to "Last state".
- In device settings, turn on “Push Notifications” to receive notices of valve open or closed (On/Off).
- In device settings, update “Current Version”, if required.
