Charging Planner
If a destination is entered that is outside of the range, the driver is made aware of this both via an acoustic signal and a text notification. The Charging Planner then automatically adds required E-Stations to the route. E-Stations with an output of at least 50 kW are selected, taking travel and charging times into account.
If an alternative route is selected, the Charging Planner automatically adapts the drive mode to the route (Normal or Range), and a corresponding notification text appears on the monitor.
E-Stations and the associated charging time are shown in the trip overview.
The high-voltage battery is pre-conditioned to achieve optimum charging performance.
