Introduction
These instructions are for your safety. Please read through them thoroughly before use and retain for future reference.
WARNING:
- Do not throw the device in a fire, battery may explode or leak.
- The Helmet with the electronic core shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as burning sun, fire or the like.
- Do not replace the set-in rechargeable Li-ion battery alone.
- Please keep it out of small children's reach, and stock against humidity and hot temperature.
- Please remove the electronic parts from the helmet when the device would be detached.
- Please keep the device away from acidic, alkaline and cuspidal things.
- Please do not disassemble, amend or alter device alone, and do not throw and drop it.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.

Charging the Headset
Note: The device will need to be fully charged prior to initial use (approx. 2 hours).
- Connect the micro-USB end of the charge cable to the micro-USB port on the Cap (Fig. 1).
- Connect the USB end of the charge cable to the USB port of a computer or adapter (not included).
- The LED indicator (Fig. 1) will turn solid RED while charging and will turn off when fully charged.
Note: The device cannot play music or answer calls while charging.
Using the Headset
Power On: Press the power button for 3 seconds; the device will sound a reminder as "Power on".
Pairing:
- Press the BUTTON for 3 seconds with the sound reminder of "power on" and "pairing", then search for the name "Music Hat" to pair. The sound reminder of "connected" indicates successful pairing (set the password to "0000" if your device is version 2.0).
- Automatic Repair: If your device is the latest paired device, the headset will automatically re-pair with your device when it is turned on again.
- Automatic Search: The device will automatically enter pairing mode again once the paired device is turned off.
Broadcasting/Pause: Press the button to pause the song; press it again to continue the song.
Previous Song/Decrease Sound: Press "-" once for the previous song; continue pressing the button to decrease the sound.
Next Song/Increase Sound: Press "+" once for the next song; continue pressing the button to increase the sound.
Call Answer:
- Android smart phone: The cap will alarm with "DONG, DONG..." when someone is calling.
- iPhone: The Headset will alarm with phone calling music, which is the same as the phone calling music on the iPhone.
- Answer Phone: Press the power button once to pick up the phone.
- Hang-up: Press the button again to hang up.
- Redial Phone Function: Press the button twice to redial the most recently dialed phone number directly.
- Phone Number Broadcasting: When someone calls, the device will broadcast the calling phone number, allowing the user to easily know who is calling.
Power Save Mode: The device will turn off automatically after 5 minutes if no device is paired or working.
Low Power Warning: The device will provide a sound reminder of "power low" when it is working and the power is insufficient, indicating it needs to be charged.
Power Off: Press the button for 3 seconds again; the device will turn off with the sound reminder of "power off", and the LED indicator will turn off.
Installation Step
Step 1: Take out the parts from the color box and find the two earphones. Place the earphones into the ear positions on both sides of the helmet using the magic tape (reference. Fig. 2).
Step 2: Position the device correctly. Try putting the helmet on the head so that the device is in a suitable position. You can adjust the position by hand for optimal use (reference. Fig. 3).

Disposal and Recycling
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice. Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
