How to Use the Air Purifier

Before Use

Before activating the purifier for the first time, turn it upside down, twist the bottom cover counterclockwise and remove the bag around the filter. Put the filter back and close the cover. Insert the power cord into a power socket. Wait 3 seconds until the indicators light up and a buzzer rings. Press the power button to activate the purifier; it will start in the low speed setting.

Speed Settings

Press the fan button [fan-speed-icon] to change the speed setting: Low > High > Auto > Sleep. The Sleep mode is the lowest setting and also turns off the LED light.

Child Lock

There is a child lock feature [lock-icon] on the device that can be activated by pressing and holding the lock button for 3 seconds. The button light should thereafter turn off, indicating it is active. Other buttons will be unresponsive until the child lock is turned off by repeating the process.

Timer

You can activate a timer [clock-icon] for the purifier so it automatically turns off after a set time. Press the button (bottom one) to activate it. The following times are available: 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. Keep pressing the button to alternate between times.

Air Quality Indicator

The built-in light inside the purifier will change color according to the current air quality:

  • Blue: Excellent air quality
  • Green: Good air quality
  • Purple: Subpar air quality
  • Red: Poor air quality

The light itself can be turned off by pressing the filter button [filter-icon] (right one).

Filter Replacement

The filter button [filter-icon] on the right will light up and indicate that the filter needs to be replaced. This occurs after the purifier has been active for around 2000 hours. The button will blink, and a beep will be heard. After replacing the filter, press and hold the button for a few seconds to reset the timer. Ensure the purifier is turned off before switching the filter. Turn the purifier upside down and open the bottom lid by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the old filter and replace it with a new one (sold separately).

Aromatherapy

There are two perfume sponges inside the purifier that you can add a preferred scent to, which will be spread in the room. To access the sponges, ensure the device is turned off, turn it around, and open the bottom lid by turning it counterclockwise. The sponges are secured inside the cover.

Mobile App Integration

Find and install the 'Smart life - Smart living' app from the App Store or Google Play store, depending on your device. Register an account in the app to proceed. Ensure you are connected to your local 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

To activate pairing mode, press and hold the fan button [fan-speed-icon] for 5 seconds on the purifier. In the app, press 'Add Device' and choose 'air purifier' from the list. Enter your network details in the next step. Wait for the purifier to connect. A prompt will display if the connection was successful. You can now control the device via the app.

To sync the device with Amazon Echo, Google Home, or other services, press 'Me' in the app, then 'More services', and choose your desired service to follow the setup steps.
