Installation Steps
- Install any instant messaging software on your computer (e.g., Tencent Meeting, SKYPE, MSN, etc.).
- Connect one end of the USB cable to the Type-C USB port on the side of the conference microphone, and the other end to your computer's USB port.
- After connecting the USB data cable normally, the three indicator lights in the center of the conference microphone will light up blue and remain solid.
- After completing software and hardware installation, you can start using the conference microphone.
PC Volume Adjustment Notes
The conference microphone is compatible with various PCs and Macs. Due to varying default system volume settings, it is recommended to adjust your computer's conference microphone playback volume to a medium-high level for optimal call quality. Setting the volume too high may lead to distorted speaker sound.
Caution:
- Do not connect multiple conference microphones, including this device, to your computer simultaneously.
- Connect this device directly to your computer. Using a USB hub may cause operational issues.
- Audio duplication may be interrupted based on the computer's load or available memory.
Follow the steps below to set your conference microphone's speaker and microphone to optimal settings.
Example with Windows 7
- Click Start > Control Panel > Sound. The "Playback" properties dialog will appear.
- In the "Playback" default device list, select "USB TW Speakers". (This action selects the device for audio output.)
- In the "Recording" default device list, select "USB TW Mic". (This action selects the device for audio input.)
Example with Windows 10
- Right-click Start > Control Panel > Sound. The "Sound" properties dialog will appear.
- In the "Select output device" and "Select input device" default device lists, select "USB TW Speakers & Mic". (This configures both audio output and input for the device.)
Example with Tencent Meeting
- Log in to Tencent Meeting software, create a quick meeting, click the "Settings" button, and select the "Audio" option.
- In the "Audio" dialog box, for both "Microphone" and "Speaker", select "USB TW Speakers & USB TW Mic", and set the volume to maximum.
- In the "Audio" option, scroll down to "Audio Noise Reduction & Enhancement" and select "Suppress background noise" and "Low noise reduction".
- After completing the settings, you can conduct remote multi-party calls via Tencent Meeting. This conference microphone effectively filters echo and noise in remote audio conferences.
