SCT RM-X57™ Application Guide

System Overview
This guide outlines the application of the SCT RM-X57™ system with Poly Studio USB Video Bar, Studio X50, and Studio X70 devices. The system facilitates audio and power transmission using specialized cables and components.
Poly Studio USB Video Bar, Studio X50 & Studio X70
Connected via RCC-M010-1.0M RJ12 to RJ12 Microphone Cable to the RM-X57-RX Receiver.
RM-X57-RX™ Receiver
- Features 'Mic Out' and 'Power In' ports.
- Connects to the Poly Studio device via the RCC-M010-1.0M cable.
- Utilizes SCTLink™ for power and audio transmission.
- Powered by WPS-12 Power Supply (100V - 240V 47-63Hz).
WPS-12 Power Supply
Provides power to the RM-X57-RX™ unit.
RM-X57-TX™ Transmitter
- Features 'Mic In' and SCTLink™ ports.
- Connects to a Poly Expansion Microphone.
- Utilizes SCTLink™ for audio transmission.
Poly Expansion Microphone
Connects to the RM-X57-TX™ Transmitter.
SCTLink™ Cable Information
The SCTLink™ cable is crucial for transmitting Power and Microphone Analog Audio. It must be a single, point-to-point CAT cable with no couplers or interconnections.
SCTLink™ Cable Specs:
- Integrator-Supplied CAT6 STP/UTP Cable
- Supports lengths from 10m to 100m (minimum/maximum length).
RJ45 Pinout:
Pin 1 is indicated on the diagram.
The diagram shows two RJ45 connectors with pinouts, illustrating the standard T568A or T568B configuration for the cable.
Component Connections
RM-X57-RX™ Receiver Connections:
- Mic Out: Connects to the Poly Studio device via the RCC-M010-1.0M cable.
- Power In: Connects to the WPS-12 Power Supply.
- SCTLink™: Connects to the RM-X57-TX™ Transmitter via an SCTLink™ cable.
RM-X57-TX™ Transmitter Connections:
- Mic In: Connects to the Poly Expansion Microphone.
- SCTLink™: Connects to the RM-X57-RX™ Receiver via an SCTLink™ cable.
Important Notes
- The Poly Supplied Microphone Cable (RCC-M010-1.0M) is available separately from SCT.
- Ensure the SCTLink™ cable is a single, uninterrupted run for optimal performance.
