Tools Recommended
For safety and ease of faucet replacement, Moen recommends the use of the following tools:
- Installation Tool (A)
- Screwdriver
- Pliers
- Wrench
Installation Instructions
For Single Hole Applications:
- Use Gasket (B) only. Place Gasket (B) on top of the sink.
- Insert faucet.
For 3 Hole Applications:
- Place Deck Plate Gasket (N) onto Deck Plate (M).
- Firmly snap Deck Plate Gasket onto Deck Plate.
- Place Deck Plate on mounting surface and install Faucet Body (A) in hole on sink.
Step 2: Mounting Bracket
- Push Mounting Bracket (D) through shank. Fasten the Mounting Nut (E) on to shank.
Step 3: Tightening
- Use Installation Tool (A) and a screwdriver to tighten the Mounting Nut (E).
Step 4: Hose Guide
- Thread the Hose Guide (F) on to the end of the shank.
- Tighten by hand.
Step 5: Pulldown Hose Installation
- Install Pulldown Hose (K) through front of spout.
- From below deck, remove the plastic cap and discard from Pulldown Hose (K).
Step 6: Connecting Hoses
- Install Pulldown Hose (K) to Outlet Hose (J).
- Push in as far as possible until a "click" is heard. Tug downward to test engagement.
Step 7: Hose Weight Installation
- Locate Hose Weight Locator Mark (K1) on Pulldown Hose (K).
- Install Hose Weight (L) just above the start of the loop curvature in the hose, on the same side as the locator mark. Channel Locks may be useful to securely clamp Hose Weight (L).
Step 8: Connecting Supply Lines
- Attach flexible supply lines to shut off valves.
- Tighten with a wrench.
Step 9: Finalizing Connections and Leak Check
- Attach the Product Identification Label (C) in a conspicuous location.
- Turn the water supply line valves on and check for leaks.
Step 10: Flushing the Faucet
- Pull the lever away from the faucet to turn on the faucet.
- Move handle towards you and away from you for 15 seconds. Turn handle off to stop water flow.
Step 11: Spray Wand Assembly
- Discard protective cap from Spray Wand (I).
- Ensure that the Screen and O-ring (H) are in the inlet of the Spray Wand (I).
- Thread Spray Wand (I) on to Pulldown Hose (K) assembly.
Step 12: Securing Spray Wand
- Using pliers, make a 1/8 turn. Do not overtighten.
Spray Wand Operation
Models with Power Boost™:
- Stream mode: Mode jet aéré
- Spray mode: Mode pulvérisation
- Enable Power Boost™ modes: Active los modos PowerBoost™
- Boosted Stream: Chorro aumentado
- Boosted Spray: Rocío aumentado
- To disengage Power Boost™: Turn water off.
Models without Power Boost™:
- Stream mode: Mode jet aéré
- Spray mode: Mode pulvérisation
- Pause mode: Mode de pause
- Press button to change function of faucet (Features may vary by model).
Optional Soap Dispenser Installation
Parts List (Optional):
- O. Soap Dispenser/Pump
- P. Straw
- Q. Soap Dispenser Base

Installation Steps:
- Assemble Straw (P) on to Soap Dispenser/Pump (O).
- Insert Soap Dispenser/Pump (O) into the Soap Dispenser Base (Q) as shown.
- Put Soap Dispenser Base (Q) through the Gasket (R) and in to the sink hole.
- Thread Mounting Nut (S) on to Soap Dispenser Base (Q). Tighten by hand.
- Thread Bottle (T) onto the Soap Dispenser Base (Q). Tighten by hand. Fill with preferred liquid soap from above sink.
Troubleshooting
Irregular Flow/Flujo Irregular/Débit réduit
Issue: Irregular flow from the faucet.
Solution:
- Unscrew Spray Wand (I) assembly.
- Remove the O-ring and Screen (H).
- Clean Screen (H) as shown by rinsing it for a few seconds to remove any possible debris. Turn off water before reinstalling Screen and O-ring.
- Re-install the O-ring and Screen (H) into the Spray Wand (I).
- Reattach Spray Wand (I) to Pulldown Hose (K) and tighten.
- Turn on the faucet to see if the flow has improved. Repeat steps B through D if necessary.
Finished Installation
Installation is complete.
Warranty Information
Moen provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty for its products to the original consumer purchaser, covering defects in material and manufacturing workmanship for as long as they own their home. For commercial or business use, the warranty period is 5 years from the original date of purchase. Moen will provide free replacement parts for any leaks or drips during the warranty period. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. This warranty excludes damage caused by installation errors, product abuse, misuse, or the use of unauthorized parts or cleaners. Moen is not responsible for labor charges or incidental/consequential damages. Some states/provinces do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by location.
