Installation

  1. Insert Micro SD Card: Please make sure the camera is turned OFF first. Align the gold plated contacts facing towards the back of the camera (Screen Side). Insert the memory card halfway, then use a fingernail or paper clip to push it all the way inward until it clicks and locks in place. The camera supports Micro SD cards up to 256GB. It is recommended to format the memory card before first use.
  2. Mount Camera: Clean a spot on your windshield where you would like to mount the camera. We recommend installing the dash cam near the rearview mirror on the driver's opposite side. Press the bracket firmly against the windshield.
  3. Install Rear Camera: Install the rear camera on the rear windshield using the adhesive tape or near the license plate using screws. The rear camera is designed to record footage at the rear of the vehicle and should not be used as an aid in backing up. For reversing function, connect the red trigger cable of the rear camera extension cable to the positive lead of the car reversing lamp (optional).
  4. Connect Power: Plug the supplied car charger into your vehicle's accessory port, and the other end into the micro USB port. Route the cable alongside the interior trim for a cleaner look.
  5. Format Micro SD Card: Go to Menu > System Settings > Format, then select Yes.
