ROLLING COUNTER DOOR EXAM ROOM COUNTER DOOR
CLOPAY COMMERCIAL – MODEL CESC15
A visual representation shows a modern exam room featuring the Clopay rolling counter door. The door is closed, with a clean, flat surface. The room includes medical equipment like a hospital bed and a counter with sinks and cabinets.
Safely Treat Behavioral Health Patients in Standard Rooms
Flexible Functionality
This counter door enables hospitals, long-term care facilities, urgent care centers, and other institutions to utilize the same exam room for both medical and behavioral health patients consecutively. This multi-purpose approach saves healthcare providers money and resources while ensuring patient security.
Utilizing an Anti-Ligature Door
The fascia-side motor is positioned above the ceiling, with the coil located above the medical cabinet. This design creates a completely flat surface facing the patient's room, concealing sinks, cabinets, oxygen tanks, and other potentially hazardous equipment. All fasteners are hidden, and the bottom bar is flat.
Durable
The exam room shutter comes standard with a steel curtain for optimal strength. It features impact-resistant guides and end locks, ensuring the curtain remains within the guides even after an impact.
Meeting the Standard
The Exam Room Counter Door complies with ASHRAE/Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) recommendations for exam room finishes, ensuring it is impact, tamper, and ligature resistant.
