Installation of Projector
1 Installing the projector
Place the projector on a stable and smooth solid or drop-hanger frame. Be sure it is ventilated around the projector and no windshield within 10 CM range. Do not cover the air vent.
Keep the projector and screen at the proper distance; projector and screen distance determines the size of the projection image. Connect one end of the power cord to the projector, and plug the other end into the AC socket.
According to your requirements, you can place the projector on a stable desk which can project from the frontage of the screen. Or fix the projector with a drop-hanger frame for projection. You can also use back projection, where the image will be projected from the back of the screen.
Diagrams show different installation methods: Projection on a table, Amount Installation (ceiling mount), Rear Projection, and Rear Projector rack installation.
Attention:
- When doing frontage hanging projection, please ensure the projector is not higher than the screen side. Otherwise, it will affect the image effect and trapezoidal adjustment.
- Please refer to the "Distance between the projector and screen" section to determine the size and distance.
- Please install the projector pointing to the screen symmetry axis to avoid trapezoidal distortion.
- During installation, do not operate while charged, lest cause electrical shock or burn out the machine.
- After the first installation and turning on, the image might appear trapezoidal shape distortion and blur. Please refer to the "Keystone correction and focusing adjustment" section to adjust.
2 Distance between the projector and screen
A diagram illustrates the relationship between the projector lens center and the screen, showing recommended distances for various screen sizes (e.g., 37", 50", 72") and corresponding projection distances (e.g., 1.16m, 1.35m, 1.51m, 1.81m, 2.15m).
2 Image flip
Basic operations of a "menu" section: switch to the on-screen interface. Press [OK] to select 'rotate 3' option. Repeatedly press [OK] to switch to up, down, left, or right turn.
Mute
The mute button on the remote control can be pressed repeatedly to close or open the audio output.
3 Focus adjustment
Clockwise turn the lens all the way into the machine, then slowly turn counterclockwise. Carefully observe the pixels on the screen at the same time. Focus on the clearest image particle (image center area shall prevail) for the best lens focus location.
4 Keystone
By slowly moving the trapezoidal correction gear (Figure 3), make the border around the screen image quadrilateral. The maximum adjustment range for trapezoidal correction is ±15 degrees. If the gear reaches its limit position and still cannot eliminate keystone distortion, shorten the distance from the projector's center to the screen in the vertical direction (Figure 4). If using a table placement, adjust the projector's angle using the rotating wheel (Figure 5).
Figure 3 shows the trapezoidal correction gear. Figure 4 illustrates reducing vertical distance to eliminate keystone distortion. Figure 5 shows an angle adjustment wheel.
5 Please refer to the following diagram for Projector ceiling mount
A diagram shows a projector mounted to a ceiling using a hanger and a fixed hanger hole. Notes advise against placing the projector near air conditioners or heaters to prevent overheating, and emphasize the importance of using strong hangers and screws to avoid accidents.
6 The signal cable connect
Insert the power adapter's DC output side into the machine's power input socket, and the other end into the mains socket.
Mains Socket & VGA input
The projector has a mains socket for power input. The VGA input socket allows connection to a computer or other VGA video signal output socket via a computer cable.
Audio output & HDMI input
Audio output: Audio signals from the output port can be connected to an external power amplifier for higher volume music playback. HDMI HD signal input: This interface allows output from an HD player via HDMI connection.
Operate and Use
The function description of each key on the surface cover
Lens: Rotate the lens to focus the image and adjust clarity.
OK: Confirms selection or enters a menu.
ESC: Exits the current menu or operation.
Indicator Light: Shows the projector's status.
Power: Turns the machine on or off, similar to the remote control's power button.
Volume (+/-): Increases or decreases volume, also used for menu selection and parameter adjustment.
Menu: Brings up the main menu or exits the system.
Signal source selection key: Selects the signal source or an external video signal.
V+/V- (Show +/-): Increases or decreases display size, also used to move up and down in menu options.
Air inlet/outlet: The air-cooled heat dissipation system draws air in and expels it. Ensure these are not obscured or congested during use to prevent overheating.
Remote Control
The remote control features buttons for Power, Fastforward, OK, Direction keys (▲, ▼, ◀, ▶), Menu, Signal Source Selection, Volume (+/-), Mute, Play/Pause, and Fastbackward. The direction keys are used for navigation and adjusting parameters.
Attention:
- Do not place items between the remote control and the projector's receiving window to avoid blocking the signal.
- Do not point the remote control directly at the projector's receiving window to prevent signal invalidity.
- Operate the remote control within a 30-degree angle at a distance of up to 6 meters from the front of the projector for optimal reception.
- If the projector is not used for a long time, remove the batteries from the remote control to prevent leakage corrosion.
- If the remote control malfunctions, replace the batteries.
- Do not place the remote control in high temperature or damp places to avoid damage.
General Usage Notes:
- When the projector is first switched on, images may appear blurred or distorted (keystone state). Adjust the lens for clarity. If trapezoidal distortion persists, adjust the trapezoidal adjustment device and consider the vertical distance from the projector to the screen.
- After image adjustment, you can watch content and set system parameters like brightness, contrast, color saturation, and sharpness according to preference.
- The projector features fan delay shutdown. Wait for the fan to stop before cutting off the power supply to prevent internal heat damage and prolong the projector's life.
- For optimal projection quality, use an appropriate projection screen and minimize ambient light. Avoid direct screen lighting. While the projector supports multiple video signals, using a single transmission signal is recommended to avoid interference.
