Vango Avington Flow 500: Pitching and Packing Instructions
This document provides step-by-step instructions for setting up and taking down the Vango Avington Flow 500 family tent.
Pitching the Tent
Important: This tent should be erected by at least 2 people. Lay out the tent fabric flat on the ground in the desired location. Insert the tent poles into the fabric sleeves. Ensure poles are matched to the correct sleeves, often indicated by color-coding or numbering. Connect pole sections together by inserting one end into the other. The elastic cord inside the poles helps guide this process. Secure the ends of the poles into the tent's grommets or pole feet located at the base of the tent. Tension the poles to begin forming the tent structure. Attach and tension the TBS®II (Tension Band System) straps. These bands run diagonally across the tent's interior to provide enhanced stability. Attach guy lines to the designated points on the tent. Secure the tent to the ground using pegs, ensuring all guy lines are taut for stability. The tent is now fully pitched. Ensure all poles are correctly seated and guy lines are securely pegged.Step 1: Prepare the Site
