Installation Steps
General Warnings
[DANGER] Ensure no power is in the cable during installation.
[WARNING] If the product is damaged, terminate installation immediately. Do not use a drill to open the protective cover, as this may damage the product.
Install the Wall Bracket
- Unpack the product and ensure all parts and tools are available.
- Make sure the locking lever is in the open position.
- Separate the Wall Bracket from the protective cover by sliding and then pulling them apart.
- Use the wall bracket as a template to mark four fixing points on the wall.
- Choose the cable entry hole (top, back, or bottom).
- Adapt and strip the supply cable according to the chosen entry route, ensuring terminal wires can be connected without strain.
- Cut the grommet to match the cable diameter.
- Mount the grommet into the input hole in the wall bracket, checking for appropriate sealing. Use separate holes for each cable.
- Insert the cable through the grommet, check sealing, and use strain relief with a cable tie if needed.
- Attach the wall bracket with a screw and washer to a marked point, using wall plugs if necessary.
- Use the built-in level to correctly align the bracket.
- Insert and tighten screws in the remaining holes to fix the bracket to the wall.
Wire Preparation and Connection
Pass wires behind the wire guides, avoiding sharp bends. Strip single wires to 14mm (for 4-6 mm² wires) or 18mm (for 8-16 mm² wires). Connect wires to the terminals according to the selected connection grid type (e.g., TN, IT).
Install the Ethernet Cable
- Make a hole through the blind plug with an awl.
- Insert the LAN cable through the grommet hole.
- Thread the LAN cable through the Wall bracket.
- If the RJ45 connector is being connected at this stage, assemble the LAN sealing plug before terminating the RJ45 connector.
Install the Protective Cover
- Set the Protective Cover onto the Wall Bracket.
- Slide the cover down until it stops.
- Use the included locking tool to turn the lever from the unlocked to the locked position.
- Access the MCB from the cover on the side of the wall bracket. Ensure the MCB is turned OFF before proceeding. Close the cover and secure the safety screw (max 0.7 Nm torque).
After Installation
Access the circuit breaker from the lid on the side of the wall bracket. Use a screwdriver to remove the safety screw. Open the lid and turn OFF the circuit breaker. Close the lid and replace the safety screw (max 0.7 Nm torque).
