Different cookware materials and their properties are detailed, along with recommendations for suitable shapes and sizes for each cooking zone.
Cookware Usage by Zone:
Zone | Suitable cookware shape | Suitable ferromagnetic base (inch) / (cm) |
---|---|---|
1 or 2 | Round or Square | 7 in - 9 in / 16 cm - 21 cm |

Adapters for Pots/Pans Unsuitable for Induction: Using adapter plates can affect efficiency. Ensure the ferromagnetic diameter of the cookware base aligns with the adapter plate and cooking zone diameter.
Empty Pots and Pans: The cooktop has an internal system that activates 'Automatic off' if excessive temperature is detected. Using empty pots with thin bases is not recommended as it may lead to damage.
First Time Use
Switching the Cooktop ON/OFF: Press the power button for approximately 1 second to turn on. Press again to turn off.
Cookware Positioning: Place pots and pans centered on the cooking zone. Avoid covering the control panel. For zones near the control panel, keep cookware within markings to prevent overheating. Use rear zones for grilling or frying.

To activate a zone: Press the zone ON/OFF button. Slide your finger on the slider to increase or decrease power level (1-18). The 'P' button selects Power Boost.
To deactivate a zone: Press the zone ON/OFF button.
Note: Spills or objects on the control panel can mimic finger input.
Control Panel Lock: Press and hold the 3-second button for 3 seconds to activate. Press again for 3 seconds to deactivate. This function is recommended for cleaning.
Power Limitation
The cooktop is set to maximum power at purchase. Power limitation settings can affect the availability of certain functions, like Power Boost.

Sounds Produced During Operation
Induction cooktops may produce sounds like whistling or creaking due to cookware characteristics. These are normal and not indicative of a problem. Continuous clicking or ticking sounds may occur if the pan is not receiving full power. Ensure cookware is appropriately sized and performing.
Hissing sounds may occur when multiple zones are activated simultaneously. Changing settings may reduce or eliminate this.
Water spills, food overflow, or objects on the control panel can activate buttons unintentionally, causing beeps or other acoustic signals.
