WARNING: Check the outlet box.

You must be able to secure the fan to the building structure or a fan-rated outlet box.

It is recommended to have a partner when installing the ceiling fan.

04 Assembling the Ceiling Bracket

WARNING: To prevent possible electrical shock, disconnect the power by removing fuses or turning off the circuit breakers to the outlet box associated with the wall switch location before installing the fan.

  1. Gently loosen three out of the four screws on the ceiling bracket, keeping them approximately 0.16 inches away from the bracket. Completely unscrew the remaining screw and keep it safe for later use.
  2. Option 1: Securing to existing ceiling fan-rated outlet box.

Use machine screws (if included in your outlet box, unscrew and reuse them) to secure the ceiling bracket. Make sure it is securely installed and acceptable for fan support of 15.9 kg (35lbs) or less.

  3. Option 2: Securing to support structure with approved electrical outlet box.

Use wood screws and washers. Drill 9/64" pilot holes in the support structure to aid in securing the ceiling bracket. Make sure to drill the holes in a horizontal line parallel to each other.

05 Hanging Your Ceiling Fan

WARNING: FAN FALL HAZARD

To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:

  1. Position the ceiling fan body facing upward. Align its oval-shaped screw slot with the L-shaped hook on the ceiling bracket, and hang it in place. Release your grip once the fan is securely hung.

NOTICE: To prevent damage to the fan, ALWAYS lift holding the fan body.

  2. Connect the wires:
    • Connect the white (grounded) wire from the ceiling to the white wire from the fan.
    • Connect the black (ungrounded) wire from the ceiling to the black wire from the fan.
    • Connect the three grounding wires (green, green/yellow stripe, or bare copper) coming from the ceiling, downrod, and hanging bracket.

WARNING: The ceiling fan must be grounded. If the ground wire for the installation site is not present, immediately STOP installation and consult a qualified electrician. All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes ANSI/EFPA70. If you are unfamiliar with wiring or in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

  3. Carefully unhook the ceiling fan body from the L-shaped hook.
  4. Align the three pre-loosened screws with the corresponding three L-shaped slots on the ceiling bracket. Slightly rotate counterclockwise to securely fasten them to the ceiling bracket. Ensure that every screw is firmly seated within the L-shaped slots.
  5. Align and secure the previously removed fourth screw with the oval-shaped slot on the ceiling bracket. Tighten the four screws in place using a screwdriver.

WARNING: FAN FALL HAZARD Make sure screws are tight.

06 Assembling the Blades

  1. You have the freedom to select either the front or back side according to your preference. Note: For better performance, utilize the fan blades consistently, whether using the front or reverse side.
  2. Make sure that the two blade slots align with the vertical tabs of the ceiling fan body.
  3. Partially insert the screws and washers into the blade's holes, and then use a screwdriver to securely tighten them.
  4. Follow the above two steps to complete the assembly of the remaining three blades.

NOTE: Follow the instructions on the blade carefully. Incorrect installation could result in the fan not functioning properly.

07 Assembling the Light Kit

WARNING: FAN FALL HAZARD

Make sure all screws are tight to secure the light fixture. Following installation, ensure that the wide gap between the light kit and the middle ring is uniform.

  1. Connect the ports of the wires with matching colors from the ceiling fan body to the light kit.
  2. Rotate the light kit clockwise to securely fasten it into place.

Note: Make sure that you hear a distinctive "click" when fastening the light kit in place. There is approximately 3/16 inch wide gap between the middle ring and the light kit.

Congratulations!

You are ready to use your ceiling fan.
