The elegant MORABO sofa series offers adaptability to suit your home and lifestyle. Customize your sofa by choosing the number of seats, shape, and functions. Expand your MORABO sofa as your needs change. Select from a variety of covers in leather and coated fabric, or fabric-only options. You can also choose between wood or metal legs, with matching sleeves included.

The seat cushions are filled with high resilience foam, providing excellent support and quickly regaining their shape. This series is designed for easy furnishing, offering practical functions and numerous combination possibilities to complement any home decor.

Cover and Leg Options

Choose from a variety of cover materials and leg styles:

• Covers: Available in GRANN (grain leather) and BOMSTAD (coated fabric), or fabric options like Gunnared and Djuparp.
• Legs: Options include metal legs or wood legs (birch).

Cover Material Details:

• GRANN (Grain Leather): A soft, durable, dyed-through leather that develops a beautiful patina over time. Easy to care for with regular vacuuming.
• BOMSTAD (Coated Fabric): Offers the look and feel of leather at a lower cost. It is a strong, durable material embossed to resemble leather, and is easy to clean.
• Gunnared: A dyed polyester fabric with a wool-like feel, warm look, and a two-toned melange effect. It has a resistance to abrasion of 50,000 cycles and a light-fastness of 6.
• Djuparp: A velvet fabric with a warm, deep color and a soft surface. It has a dense pile and a light, reflective shine. It has a resistance to abrasion of 25,000 cycles and a light-fastness of 5.

Durability and Care

All MORABO leather and coated fabric covers are treated for protection and ease of care. They have been tested and approved for tear strength, flexibility, and color fastness.

Abrasion Resistance: Fabrics are tested for durability by rubbing against another fabric. Fabrics with 15,000 cycles are suitable for everyday use, while those with over 30,000 cycles are considered very resistant to abrasion.

Material Considerations: Durability is also influenced by material composition, construction, and usage. Tightly woven fabrics, those with a mix of natural and synthetic fibers, and yarn-dyed fabrics tend to be more durable. Regular cleaning also contributes to longevity.

Resource Use: IKEA prioritizes renewable, recycled, and responsibly grown materials. Recycled polyester and sustainably sourced cotton are used in production.

Care Instructions:

• Leather: Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment.
• Coated Fabric: Vacuum the surface with a soft brush attachment and wipe with a damp cloth.

Good to Know
