Landslide! Competition Activity

Competition Goal:

Score as many points as possible in a one-minute match by triggering the landslide and moving the rocks!

Competition Rules:

  1. Each of the following tasks are worth one point:
    • Triggering the landslide (1 total point possible)
    • Moving a rock to the Red Tile (2 total points possible)
  2. Each match begins with the Hero Robot on the green starting tile.
  3. Start the timer and drive your robot to score as many points as possible in one minute.
  4. At the end of one minute (or when the second rock is cleared), stop driving and record the score. For teams that score all 3 points, record the time of the run. In the event of a tie, the fastest time will be used as a tiebreaker.
  5. The robot cannot be touched while it is driving. A rock must be fully on the red tile in order to be scored. If a game object falls out of the Field during the match, it can be hand placed back on the Field.
