Semantic Versioning

Given a version number MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, Thorlabs follows these rules:

Increase MAJOR version when incompatible API changes are made.
Increase MINOR version when functionality is added in a backwards compatible manner.
Increase PATCH version when backwards compatible bug fixes are made.
