Operation

Listening to FM Radio

  1. Turn the unit ON, then rotate the AM / FM / BT selector to select FM.
  2. Rotate the Volume Knob to adjust your desired volume level.
  3. Rotate the TUNING knob to select your desired station.
  4. Adjust the antenna (located on back of unit) to get the best reception.

Listening to AM Radio

  1. Turn the unit ON, then rotate the AM / FM / BT selector to select AM.
  2. Rotate the Volume Knob to adjust your desired volume level.
  3. Rotate the TUNING knob to select your desired station.

Listening to an External Device (Bluetooth)

In Bluetooth Mode, this Unit can play music from external devices that are Bluetooth Compatible.

Connecting Your Bluetooth Device

  1. Turn the unit ON, then rotate the AM / FM / BT selector to select BT.
  2. Rotate the Volume Knob to adjust your desired volume level.
  3. Turn ON the Bluetooth function on your external device.
  4. Open Bluetooth settings on your external device. Note: The effective distance between your external device and this unit is 10 meters (33 ft).
  5. Wait a moment for "VRS-2800" to appear on the device list of your external device's Bluetooth setting, then select "VRS-2800". If your device asks for password enter "0000" then press "OK".
  6. When the Bluetooth connection as been established successfully you will hear audible beep and the LED Indicator will remain lit.
  7. Start playback through your external device.

Bass and Treble Control

Turn the Tone Control Knob to your desired preference.

  • To hear more Bass turn the knob to the left.
  • To hear more Treble turn the knob to the right.

Troubleshooting

SymptomPossible CauseSolution

Cannot listen to any station, or signal appears weak.The sound is distorted.Ensure the unit is switched to BT mode. Move your Bluetooth device closer to unit. Turn up the volume on your portable device or the unit. Turn off your Bluetooth device and unit then power them both back ON. Bring your device closer to the unit.
The sound is distorted.The unit is not switch to Bluetooth mode. Your device's and/or the unit's volume not turn up. Your device is too far from the unit or there is an obstacle between your device and the unit.Ensure the unit is switched to BT mode. Move your Bluetooth device closer to unit. Turn up the volume on your portable device or the unit. Turn off your Bluetooth device and unit then power them both back ON.
Sound has a lot of static.Your device is too far away. Your device doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth pairing is not successful.Bring your device closer to the unit. Confirm that your device is Bluetooth compatible. Repair the unit and device again.

To obtain service, the purchaser MUST present an original sales receipt / proof of purchase. Please contact us at www.victrola.com to request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number to return products for service or replacement. Returns without an RMA number on the package will be refused and returned to sender. Upon receipt of the returning item and our full inspection (IT) may issue a replacement to customer for the same item or of one that has equivalent value and features. To return an item, supply full name, return address, phone number, item purchased, receipt of purchase and reason for return to obtain RMA number.

All returns must be in the original packaging or reasonable substitute to prevent damage. Customer "Must" include full name, shipping address and telephone number inside of package. No return will be shipped back to a PO Box or APO address.

Turntable Operation

Power Supply

Insert the adaptor plug into the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit, then connect the AC/DC adaptor (5V, 1A AC100-240V, 50-60Hz) to a AC/DC wall outlet.

Basic Operation

  1. Lift the BUCKLE on the front of the turntable and open the lid.
  2. Turn the FUNCTION KNOB to the PHONO position. Power ON the unit by turning the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB clockwise. The red LED will light to show that the turntable is turned ON.
  3. Place a record on the TURNTABLE PLATTER and select the desired speed (33 1/3 / 45/78) by sliding the SPEED SELECTION SWITCH according to the record. NOTE: When playing a 45 rpm record, use the included 45 RPM ADAPTOR located in the holder near the tone arm.
  4. Open the TONE ARM CLIP to release the TONE ARM. Push the LIFT LEVER backwards to raise the arm. Gently move the tone arm to the desired position over the record. The turntable will begin to spin when the arm is moved toward the record. Push the lift lever forward and lower the arm slowly onto the desired position on the record to begin playing. Please Note: The record will begin to spin only when the tone arm is moved over the record if the Auto Stop is turned ON.
  5. If the AUTO AND MANUAL STOP SELECTION SWITCH is turned ON, the record will stop automatically when finished. If this switch is OFF the record will NOT stop automatically when finished.
  6. To select the volume level, turn the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB to adjust the volume.

How to Replace the Turntable Needle

Removing the Stylus from the Cartridge
  1. Place a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push downward as shown in direction "A". WARNING: when applying force to stylus, too much may damage or break the stylus.
  2. Remove the stylus by pulling the stylus forward and pushing downward.
Installing the Stylus
  1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the stylus by pressing as shown in direction "B".
  2. Push the stylus upward as in direction "C" until the stylus locks into the tip position.

Bluetooth Operation

An external device with Bluetooth Connectivity can be wirelessly connected to this turntable using the Bluetooth function.

  1. Power ON the unit by turning the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB clockwise.
  2. Turn the FUNCTION KNOB to the BT (Bluetooth) position, the blue LED light will begin to flash.
  3. Turn your external device's Bluetooth Setting ON. Wait a moment, then look for the Bluetooth pairing name "Vintage Turntable".
  4. Select the Bluetooth pairing name, to connect the unit. Once connected, the blue LED light will stop flashing.
  5. You are now connected to your external device via Bluetooth!
  6. Rotate the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB to adjust the sound level.

Aux-In Operation

An external (auxiliary) audio source (i.e. personal CD/MP3 Player/Mobile phone or computer) can be connected to this apparatus via the LINE-IN JACK.

  1. Plug a detachable Aux Cable (not provided) into the LINE-IN socket on the function panel of the apparatus.
  2. Turn the FUNCTION KNOB to the LINE-IN position, the LED will turn purple.
  3. Plug the other end of the Aux Cable into the Headphone or Line Out socket of your External Source.
  4. Power ON the unit by turning the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB clockwise.
  5. Rotate the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB to adjust the sound level.

Earphone Operation

Plug the earphone jack into the earphone port on the function panel to listen to the record. The built-in speaker will stop playing once the earphones are plugged in.

NOTE: For best performance and product maintenance, unplug the turntable when not in use.
