- Use the provided wall mounting kit and angle kit to correctly tilt the device and avoid unwanted motion events.
- Ensure the doorbell camera is not directed towards light-colored walls and keep it away from direct sunlight.
- To ensure a stable connection, maintain an appropriate distance* between the doorbell, monitor, SwitchBot Lock devices, and the router.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What should I do if the device does not connect to the network?
Delete and re-add the device in the app, or reset the device's Wi-Fi and follow the installation instructions.
Ensure the device connects only to 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz, IPV4 wireless networks.
Ensure the distance between the router and the Doorbell or Monitor is less than 100m.
If your router uses a whitelist of physical addresses, add the Monitor's physical address to the whitelist or disable the function.
Q2: Why is there no image on the Monitor when the doorbell is pressed or buttons are used?
The distance between the router and the Doorbell or Monitor might be too great. In open, unobstructed environments, the maximum transmission distance is 100m, but obstacles like walls can significantly reduce this range.
Q3: Why is there no sound or low volume from the Doorbell or Monitor?
Adjust the volume settings for both devices in the app.
Ensure the microphone holes on the devices are not blocked by tape or other objects.
Q4: What should I do when the Doorbell triggers frequent false alarms?
Avoid direct sunlight on the Doorbell's motion detection sensor. ☀️❌
Do not point the Doorbell towards glass, mirrors, or roads with complex traffic. ??❌
Keep the Doorbell camera away from heat sources or wireless devices that might interfere with connectivity. ??❌
Q5: Why is the Doorbell's battery life shorter than expected?
Ensure the battery is fully charged (for at least six hours). ?
Frequent event triggers will drain the battery more quickly. To avoid excessive activity notifications, adjust the Motion Settings to a lower sensitivity.
Q6: Why does the visitor's face appear dark on the Monitor?
Adjust the installation position and angle to avoid strong light directly hitting the lens. ??
Use the included angle kit to make horizontal adjustments (up to 15°).
Q7: What should I do when the image is blurry or unclear?
Gently wipe the lens with a soft, dry cloth if it is dirty. ?
Condensation may occur due to temperature variations; this will resolve when temperatures stabilize. ?️
Q8: What should I do when the image appears too bright or too dark?
Check and adjust the brightness settings in the app. ?
Q9: What should I do when there are white lines or a halo effect on the image?
Direct exposure to intense light (e.g., the sun) can affect visibility. This is not a malfunction. Avoid installing the camera in locations with excessive light exposure. ☀️
