BluOS Release Notes: System Requirements and Software Updates

These release notes document the minimum requirements for controlling a BluOS player. They also list the recent changes to the BluOS operating system. Players should always be running the latest version of BluOS.

This document details updates and improvements across various BluOS versions, including:

BluOS 4.12.4: Introduced Spotify Lossless, Qobuz Connect, initial support for Bluesound POWERNODE (2025), Queue Builder Mode, and improved accessibility.

BluOS 4.10.19: Added updates to BluOS and Local Library playlists, and fixes for IR learning.

BluOS 4.10.14: Improved handling when NAD M50.2 exits standby.

BluOS 4.10.13: Addressed radio station fixes, preset volume improvements, and Dirac updates.

BluOS 4.10.11: Included core system refinements, grouping improvements, stability enhancements, music service updates, and security updates.

BluOS 4.8.22: Introduced Dirac Live Ready support for Bluesound NODE (Gen 3) & NODE X.

BluOS 4.8.21: Added DSD support for multiple Bluesound and PSB models.

BluOS 4.8.19: Updated Dirac Live support for the M66 and included performance improvements.

BluOS 4.8.15: Added Dirac Live Ready support for Bluesound NODE (Gen 5) & NODE ICON.

BluOS 4.8.10: Provided updates for the Bluesound NODE ICON.

BluOS 4.8.9: Improved HDMI Input compatibility on the ROKSAN Caspian.

BluOS 4.8.7: Added initial support for Bluesound NODE ICON, CYRUS 40 ST, ROKSAN Caspian, gain control on M66 analog inputs, and DSD support for specific models.

BluOS 4.6.7: Improved boot timing on the BCS300.

BluOS 4.6.6: Enhanced Standby and Trigger In on the M66, added Auto Sense support, and support for the USB DIRAC microphone on the M10v3.

BluOS 4.6.3: Introduced New MQA Libraries, new chassis firmware for NAD models, and initial support for Bluesound NODE (gen 5) and NAD C700 V2.

BluOS 4.4.19: Improved genre handling on Qobuz, BUGS!, and Napster.

BluOS 4.4.17: Added support for TIDAL HiRes and improved Amazon Music searches.

BluOS 4.4.12: Included DIRAC updates for various NAD models.

BluOS 4.4.11: Added support for Ukrainian Language, WPA3 Wireless, NAD C379 and Bluesound Professional BCS300, updated NAD M66 support, improved DAC support, fixed Apple Music playback issues, and enhanced the 4.0 UI.

BluOS 4.2.6: Introduced support for HiRes FLAC over TIDAL Connect, custom TuneIn stations, improved playback recovery, and updated shuffle handling.

BluOS 3.20.49: Introduced initial support for Bluesound NODE X, improved audio format transitions, and updates to ROON initialization.

BluOS 3.20.46: Included Dirac calibration updates and HDMI CEC improvements for specific NAD models.

BluOS 3.20.45: Added product support for C 3050 LE, HDMI improvements for NAD Audio Video Receivers, and support for QPlay music service.
