Safety information
Before using a FittingStor, ensure any relevant risk assessments are carried out. Armorgard cannot be responsible for accidents that occur due to negligence. Always carry out a risk assessment before using the FittingStor, including lifting and lowering, to ensure the risk of injury is reduced. Care should be taken to ensure contents do not make the unit unstable. When loading, ensure weight is evenly distributed and that heavier items are ALWAYS loaded in the base. When castors are unlocked, the unit must always be positioned on a flat, even surface. Ensure castors are locked when it's not being moved. Do not move FittingStor when in the open position. Ensure the unit is closed and locked shut before moving. Ensure that the FittingStor is not damaged before using it. Castors must be installed according to our specification and should be checked regularly to ensure they still fit for purpose. We recommend to close doors before putting the FittingStor in motion, to prevent content and product damage. Pull unit rather than push the unit so any imperfections in ground/level changes are visible before pushing unit over them. Do not force castors over uneven ground at risk of the unit tipping over. Only position the FittingStor on stable and even ground to prevent it rolling over and causing injury or personal harm. Improper dangerous activities performed using the FittingStor increases the risk of personal injury, please follow the stated instructions to prevent incidents. Always lock the FittingStor when it's not in use or out of sight. Do NOT leave keys inside the unit while locking.
4

Do not store equipment on top of the FittingStors, especially when moving the unit. Always load the bottom shelf first and unload it last.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure this operational and maintenance manual covers every aspect needed to operate your product safely, please take care when using the product and always operate with caution. Fitting the castors

1. Lift the FittingStor onto a stable platform, the unit must be empty of contents. Two or more people required to assist with lifting.

2. Insert castor plates into the forklift skids. Put the castor wheel in place, insert the M8 bolts and use a 13mm socket to tighten the nylock nuts.

3. Armorgard castor kits come with two fixed swivel-braked castors. For FC2, FC3, FC4 and FC6, fix the 2x swivel castors on same side, and if applicable, where the handle is located.
10

4. For the FC5, you must fix the castors as per the diagram above. Fix three castors per cabinet, in opposite facing triangles with braked castors (circled) positioned at the front of the cabinet when fully closed.

5. Repeat step two for the other wheels. Once complete, check all nuts are tight, and then ensure the two swivel-braked castors can swivel through 360° before lowering the FittingStor.
11

Storing the unit

1. The design of the FittingStor can help save space when storing the unit.

2. Ensure that all locks are secured when leaving the FittingStor unattended. This is essential to uphold the maximum security of the box.

3. When the FittingStor is in position, always ensure the castor brakes are used.
15

Transporting the unit
The design of the FittingStor makes transporting the product easy.
The FittingStors come with forklift pockets for transporting using a forklift or pallet truck. Castors for mobility must be fitted following the guidelines in this manual.
Please note that the product requires more than one person to lift, and it is always advised to lift the boxes when they are empty of contents.

1. Always secure all locks and remove key before lifting the unit, to ensure that the unit does not open unexpectedly.

2. When transporting, ensure the product is secured to the carrier using straps or other necessary measures.

16

Equipment care
The FittingStor is weather resistant and constructed with a durable powder coated finish, so it is suitable for outdoor use, however, it does not mean it is waterproof. It is always important to note that any electrics or equipment susceptible to water damage should be sealed. Always ensure that the product data plate remains visible and in good condition, especially the unique serial number, as this is required should you need a replacement lock or key.
Ongoing maintenance
It is important to check that the FittingStor is not damaged before every use. We recommend for you to check the hinges, locks, shelves and latches extras every three months, to ensure that the FittingStor can operate fully. If the FittingStor will be under rigorous use, we recommend integrity checking regularly. Always carry out integrity checks before lifting the box.
17
