Charging Your Speakers
Before initial use, charge your speakers for approximately four hours. When speakers are connected, you can plug the USB cable into any micro USB port to charge them all simultaneously.
Enjoying Your Speakers
For optimal performance, keep your AirBase within 32 feet of your smart device. Ensure Bluetooth® is enabled on your device before starting the pairing process.
Pairing the AirBase Speaker
Turn on Speakers: Press the power button. If speakers are connected, pressing one powers them all on. If separated, power each one individually. A green light on the back of each speaker indicates they are on and connected.
Initiate Pairing: Connect your AirBase to your Bluetooth®-enabled device. You will hear a voice prompt indicating "pairing mode."
Connect Device: On your smartphone or tablet, select "Air" from the list of nearby devices. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.
Position Speakers: You can now separate the speakers and place them as desired, ensuring they remain within 75 feet of the AirBase.
Disclaimer: Wireless connection range may be affected by interference or thick walls.
Using AirConnect Speakers Independently
You can pair each AirConnect speaker to its own Bluetooth® source to use as a separate speaker. Follow these steps:
Prepare Speaker: With the speaker off, press and hold the power button until you hear a chime, then a beep.
Enter Bluetooth Mode: Press the power button again. The indicator light will turn blue.
Pair Device: On your smartphone or tablet, select "Air Left" or "Air Right" from the list of nearby devices. Another beep will confirm pairing.
Disclaimer: Both left and right speakers share the same pairing names. Some devices may not allow pairing if a speaker with the same name is already connected. You may need to delete the pairing name and retry.
Connecting to Other Audio Systems
You can connect the Air speakers to an alternate audio system (e.g., home theater, TV) by plugging an audio cable into the "OUT" jack on the Air speaker and the "line in" port of your audio system.
Connection Lost Troubleshooting
- If pairing fails, turn the speakers off and repeat the pairing steps.
- Ensure your speakers are within range of your smart device.
- A long beep or voice prompt indicating low battery may cause connection loss. Recharge your speakers.
- Always use the enclosed USB cable for charging.
Pairing Additional AirConnect Speakers
Expand your sound system by adding up to 75 more AirConnect speakers to your AirBase. Simply connect an extra AirConnect speaker to the AirBase to expand your sound.
Disconnecting an AirConnect Speaker from AirBase
Air offers flexibility in how you listen. To disconnect an AirConnect speaker from its current AirBase and prepare it for pairing with another:
Turn off speaker: Power off your AirConnect speaker.
Reset Speaker: Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. The speaker will power on, then power off. Continue holding until it powers off completely.
Ready for New Pairing: Your AirConnect speaker is now disconnected and ready to be paired with any AirBase.
