Getting Started

1. Insert the SIM and memory card

Follow these steps to insert your SIM card(s) and optional memory card:

  1. Open the SIM card tray: push the tray opener pin into the tray hole and slide the tray out.
  2. Place your nano-SIM card in the SIM slot on the tray with the contact area facing down.
  3. If your phone supports dual-SIM, place the second SIM card in the SIM2 slot. Tip: Check the sales box label for 2 IMEI codes to confirm dual-SIM capability.
  4. If you have a memory card, place it in the memory card slot.
  5. Slide the tray back into the phone.

Important Notes:

  • Use only original nano-SIM cards. Incompatible SIM cards may damage the card or the device and corrupt stored data.
  • Use only compatible memory cards approved for this device. Incompatible cards may damage the card and device and corrupt stored data.
  • ? Important: Do not remove the memory card while an app is using it. Doing so may damage the memory card, the device, and corrupt stored data.

Both SIM cards can be used simultaneously when the device is idle. However, when one SIM card is active (e.g., during a call), the other may be unavailable.

2. Charge the battery and switch the phone on

To charge your phone:

  1. Plug a compatible charger into a wall outlet and connect the cable to your phone's [USB-C connector].
  2. You can also charge from a computer using a USB cable, though this may take longer.

If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes for the charging indicator to appear.

To switch your phone on:

  • Press and hold the power key until the phone vibrates. The phone will then guide you through the setup process.

SAR Certification Information

This mobile device complies with radio wave exposure guidelines set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Industry Canada (IC).

FCC RF Exposure: The device is designed not to exceed FCC emission limits for radio frequency (RF) energy. The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. The highest reported SAR values for this model are 0.99 W/kg (at the ear) and 0.95 W/kg (when worn on the body with a 1.0 cm separation distance).

To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that keep the handset at least 1.0 cm from your body. Accessories should not contain metallic components.

SAR information can be found on the FCC website by searching for FCC ID 2AJOTTA-1333 or 2AJOTTA-1340. Additional info is available at www.fcc.gov/general/radio-frequency-safety-0.

IC SAR: Information on IC SAR compliance can be found at http://www.ic.gc.ca.

General RF Exposure: The World Health Organization (WHO) states that current scientific information does not indicate a need for special precautions when using mobile devices. For reduced exposure, limit usage or use a hands-free kit. More information is available at www.who.int/peh-emf/en.

Body-worn Operation: This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the handset kept 1.0 cm from the body. To maintain compliance, use accessories that maintain this separation distance.

Network Connection: A good network connection is needed for sending data or messages. Sending may be delayed until a connection is available. Follow separation distance instructions until sending is finished.

During general use, SAR values are typically lower than the stated limits due to automatic power reduction when full power is not needed.
