1. Installation Guide
Unpacking and Leveling
- Unpack the Appliance: Carefully remove the washing machine from its packaging.
- Remove Transit Bolts: Locate and remove the transit screws/bolts from the rear of the appliance using a wrench. These bolts secure the drum during transport and must be removed before use.
- Remove Spacers: Remove any plastic spacers associated with the transit bolts.
- Insert Caps: Insert the provided plastic caps into the holes where the transit bolts were removed.
- Level the Appliance: Adjust the feet at the bottom of the washing machine using a wrench to ensure it is perfectly level and stable on the floor. Proper leveling prevents vibrations and noise during operation.
Water Connections
- Connect Water Inlet Hose: Connect the water inlet hose to the cold water tap. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
- Position Drain Hose: The drain hose should be positioned at a height between 50 cm (minimum) and 85 cm (maximum) from the floor. Ensure the hose is not kinked or obstructed. It can be placed into a sink or a standpipe. For an overflow vent, ensure a minimum of 4 cm clearance and a maximum height of 100 cm.
Power Connection
- Connect to Power Supply: Plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the power cord is not trapped or damaged.
