Operation Instructions
Starting the Generator
- Ensure the oil container is properly filled, adequate diesel fuel is supplied, and the battery is correctly connected.
- Place the RUN-STOP lever in the RUN position.
- Turn the key to start the engine. If it doesn't start within 3-4 seconds, release the key for another 3-4 seconds and try again. For difficult starts, press the decompressor simultaneously with the starter.
Shutting Down the Generator
- Turn the key to the OFF position.
- If the generator does not shut down, press the manual shutdown lever. The RUN-STOP lever will move to the STOP position, and the generator will turn off.
AC Application
- Start the generator and ensure the operation indicator light is on.
- Allow the engine speed to reach maximum before applying load.
- Apply load when the voltmeter reading is within the specified range (e.g., 230 +/-10% for 50Hz).
- Connect the appliance. Do not start multiple machines simultaneously or use spotlights with other equipment.
- Ensure all connected appliances are in good working condition. If an appliance malfunctions, disconnect it immediately and inspect it. If an overload protection is activated, reduce the electrical load and wait a few minutes before resuming operation. If the voltmeter reading is abnormal, stop the generator and investigate the cause.
DC Application (12V Battery Charging)
- Use DC terminals only for charging 12V automotive batteries.
- Ensure the negative battery cable is disconnected from the battery before charging.
- Start the engine and connect the charging cables to the battery terminals and the generator's DC terminals. Connect positive to positive and negative to negative. Do not reverse the cables, as this can damage the generator or battery.
- Keep charging cables from touching each other to prevent short circuits.
- Batteries produce explosive gases; keep away from sparks, flames, and cigarettes. Connect charging cables to the battery first, then to the generator. Disconnect from the generator first.
- Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area. Remove battery cell caps and stop charging if the electrolyte temperature exceeds 45°C.
- Do not attempt to start a car engine while the generator is connected to the battery. Do not use 12V DC and AC simultaneously.
Maintenance
Air Filter
- Clean the air filter every 4 months or 200 operating hours.
- Replace the air filter if it is dirty or if engine performance decreases. Never operate the engine without the air filter or with a faulty one.
Oil Filter
- Clean the oil filter every 4 months or 200 operating hours.
- Replace the oil filter if necessary.
Fuel Filter
- Clean the fuel filter regularly for maximum engine performance. Drain fuel from the tank, remove the filter, wash it with diesel fuel, and reassemble.
Oil Change
- Change the engine oil every 100 hours or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface. Drain the oil while the engine is warm. Refill with the recommended oil.
General Checks
- Check fuel and oil levels regularly.
- Inspect for oil leaks.
- Tighten all engine and generator parts.
- Check battery fluid levels and charge the battery if needed.
Troubleshooting
Symptom | Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|

Generator not producing power | Switch not in 'ON' position | Turn the switch to the 'ON' position |
Oil level is low or insufficient | Check and adjust oil level | |
Incorrect starter rope pull technique | Follow correct starting procedure | |
Dirty fuel nozzle | Clean the fuel nozzle | |
Battery not producing power | Charge or replace the battery | |
Main switch is not closed | Turn the main switch to 'ON' | |
Poor connection at the socket | Adjust socket and plug | |
Generator not reaching rated RPM | Incorrect governor adjustment | Adjust the generator according to specifications |
