Safety Warnings and Precautions

⚠️ WARNING: Please read this manual carefully before using the product. Failure to do so may result in serious injury.

General Warnings

  • Read operating instructions carefully before use.
  • Ensure only trained staff works with the instrument.

Risk of Burn

  • Caution when touching housing parts and the hotplate, which can reach temperatures exceeding 80°C.
  • Pay attention to residual heat after switching off.

Protective Ground Contact

  • Make sure the socket is grounded (protective ground contact) before use.

Operating Risks

  • Wear personal safety protection to avoid risks of splashing and evaporation of liquids, and release of toxic or combustible gases.
  • Set up the instrument in a spacious, stable, clean, non-slip, dry, and fireproof area. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres, with hazardous substances, or around water.
  • Gradually increase speed; reduce speed if the stirring bar breaks away or the instrument/container is not stable.
  • Set temperature at least 50°C lower than the flash point of the media used.
  • Be aware of hazards from flammable materials, low boiling point media, overfilling, and unsafe containers.
  • Process pathogenic materials only in closed vessels.

PTFE Stirrer Bar Precautions

  • Elemental fluorine, three fluoride, and alkali metals can corrode PTFE and Halogen alkanes.
  • Molten alkali, alkaline earth metals, or their solutions, and powders from the second and third ethnic of the Periodic Table of Elements can react chemically with PTFE at temperatures of 300-400°C.

General Precautions

  • Check instrument and accessories before each use. Do not use damaged components.
  • Safe operation is guaranteed only with listed accessories. Accessories must be securely attached and removed when not in use. Always disconnect power before fitting accessories.
  • When using an external temperature sensor, its tip must be 5-10 mm from the vessel bottom and wall.
  • Fully disconnect the instrument by turning off the main power or unplugging.
  • The voltage on the label must match the main power supply.
  • Ensure the power cable does not touch the hotplate. Do not cover the device.
  • The instrument must only be operated by experts.
  • Keep away from high magnetic fields.

  2. Install the crossbar fixer of the support frame.
  3. Install the support rail.
  4. Install the fixing buckle between the support frame and the agitator body.
  5. Install the stirring rod.
  6. Fix the support frame and the agitator main body, and connect the agitator bar power supply according to the socket of the main body.

Precautions for installation

  • This product is a precision experimental instrument. Please operate according to the interface during installation.
  • Please install in strict accordance with the installation steps.
  • After installation, please check the verticality of the support frame and the level of the support rail.
  • Please ensure that all parts are tightly connected without looseness. If you find that the connection part is loose during use, please stop using it immediately and reinstall it to avoid causing parts and experiments. The instrument is damaged.

Product Functions and Operation

MODEL NO.: 79-1

Image Description: Front panel of the VEVOR 79-1 Magnetism Heating Mixer showing controls: Power switch, Heating switch, Speed Adjust knob, and indicators. Also shows the assembled unit with support stand and heating plate.

Operation Mode

  1. Place the machine on a horizontal desktop and connect the power cord to the power outlet on the back of the base.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard socket.
  3. Pay attention to the Power switch: the line (-) indicates ON, and (o) indicates OFF.
  4. Place the machine stably, put the beaker with liquid in the center of the working plate, and place an appropriate rotor in the beaker, centered. Turn on the power supply. Press the "Heat" button (line (-) ON, (o) OFF) to start heating. Similarly, press the "Speed Adjust" knob once to start speed adjustment, and rotate the knob to set the required speed.
  5. To measure the liquid temperature, connect the bracket, plug the sensor lead into the back of the machine, and insert the sensor into the liquid. The displayed temperature is the liquid temperature.

Precautions for Use

  • Avoid using in a humid environment.
  • Do not overfill the beaker to prevent overflow when stirring.
  • Do not touch the heating plate during use to avoid burns.

MODEL NO.: 85-2

Image Description: Front panel of the VEVOR 85-2 Numerical Show Constant Temperature Magnetism Mixer showing controls: Power switch, Speed Adjust knob, SET button, up/down buttons, and display. Also shows the assembled unit with support stand, heating plate, and temperature probe.

Operation Mode

  1. Place the machine on a horizontal desktop and connect the power cord to the power outlet on the back of the base.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard socket.
  3. Pay attention to the power switch on the right side: the line (-) indicates ON, and (o) indicates OFF.
  4. Place the machine stably, put the beaker with liquid in the center of the working plate, and place an appropriate rotor in the beaker, centered. Turn on the power supply. The upper row of the instrument displays the furnace plate temperature (or external sensor temperature if connected), and the lower row displays "Off". Press the "Speed Adjust" knob once to start speed adjustment, and rotate the knob to set the required speed.
  5. SC Setting: Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter specification adjusting mode. SC is the error calibration value (difference between set and actual temperature), default is 0.0. Press SET, numbers flash, adjust value between -9.9 to 9.0 using up/down buttons.
  6. E Setting: Press SET to enter the next specification. E is the critical value before slow heating speed, default is 0.5. Adjust using the same steps as SC.
  7. P Setting: Press SET again to enter the next specification. P relates to heating speed control. Example: if P=10, heating speed control starts at 49°C. If P=4, it starts at 47.5°C. Decrease P if temperature disparity is large; increase P if temperature rises too slowly or doesn't reach the desired level.
  8. To measure liquid temperature, connect the bracket, plug the sensor lead into the back of the machine, and insert the sensor into the liquid. The displayed temperature is the liquid temperature.
