Mode 1 (M1): Golf Mode
Target-Lock Vibration + Slope: Press the [power-symbol] button once while aiming at a target. The laser vibrates when locked. If slope is enabled, the slope-adjusted distance is shown at the bottom of the display.

Yards / Meters
Changing between yards and meters
Hold the MODE button for 3 seconds to change units. 'Y' indicates yards, 'M' indicates meters.
Battery
Replace the battery
The rangefinder requires a CR123A battery and supports approximately 5,800 measuring times. When the [battery-icon] appears on the screen, the battery is low and should be replaced. The battery compartment slides towards the back of the laser to open.
NOTICE: Dispose of the Shot Scope device, battery, and packaging in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of the battery with regular household waste.
Remove plastic wrap from the battery before use. Both CR123A and CR123 batteries can be used. Batteries are available from hardware stores or online.
Slope
Adaptive Slope technology
Shot Scope's Adaptive Slope technology provides a compensated distance based on uphill or downhill gradients. For example, a 156-yard shot with a 7-degree uphill gradient plays as 176 yards. Without this technology, the shot would come up 20 yards short. Slope is available in Golf Mode (M1).
Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates the concept. An "Actual Distance (156yds)" is shown. A "+ 7 Degree uphill" is indicated. The calculation shows "156 yards + 7 Degree uphill = your 156 yard shot is actually 176 yards". The "Horizontal Distance" and "Height" are shown, leading to a "Slope-adjusted distance (Horizontal Distance + Height) = 176yds".
Turn Slope On/Off
Slide the slope indicator switch on the side of the rangefinder forwards or backwards to turn slope on and off. This product is legal for tournament play when slope mode is disabled.
Slope is activated when a green indicator is visible; it is turned off when the green indicator is not visible.
GPS Distances and H4 Cover Plate
GPS distances
When the Shot Scope H4 (sold separately) is attached to the back of the rangefinder, the PRO LX can provide GPS distances to the front, middle, and back of the green.
Removing the cover plate and attaching the H4
To remove the cover plate, press the bottom half inwards; the top will detach. The H4 slots into the PRO LX rangefinder underneath the eyepiece and is secured by a magnet. To separate, carefully pull the H4 away from the PRO LX.
Performance Tracking
H4 Performance Tracking
You can track your performance using the Shot Scope H4 (sold separately or part of the PRO LX+ product). For more information on tracking your round, visit shotscope.com/getstarted.
Diagram Description: A mobile app screenshot shows performance data, including "Longest Drive 345 Yds", "Strokes Gained", and other metrics like "Left Rough" and shot counts.
