Product Overview

Thank you for purchasing Aputure Barn Doors. The Aputure F10 Barn Doors is a light-control product designed to work with Bowens Mount lighting fixtures, such as the 600d Pro/600d series. It features an eight-blade design that allows for flexible and diverse light control, enabling users to adjust the beam and block unwanted light. The light-retaining blade design enhances control capabilities.

Installation Guide

Step 1: Install Adapter Ring

Attach the adapter ring to the lamp holder. During installation, ensure the "movable claw" of the adapter ring is positioned at the upper part.

Step 2: Attach Barn Doors

Lift the "movable claw" on the adapter ring and rotate it to the back. Insert the Barn Doors into the claw's slot. Then, lift the claw again, adjust it to the front, and secure it by closing.

Safety Rope Installation

Step 1: Connect Small Hook

The small hook on the safety rope connects to the hook ring on the F10 Fresnel attachment.

Step 2: Connect Large Hook

Attach the large hook of the safety rope to the fixed buckle or designated attachment point.

Note: The safety rope connects the barn doors to the fixture to prevent accidental falls.

Important Warnings

⚠️ Warning: Do not turn on the light when the barn door blades are fully folded! Prolonged exposure of the light to the blades can cause them to become very hot. Exercise caution to avoid burns.

Important Notes for Warranty Service

• Keep your original sales receipt. Ensure the dealer has recorded the date and serial number of the product on the receipt. This information is required for warranty service.

Warranty Exclusions

• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents (including water damage), faulty connections, defective or maladjusted associated equipment, or use with unintended equipment.
• Cosmetic defects appearing more than thirty (30) days after the purchase date. Cosmetic damage caused by improper handling is also excluded.
• Damage occurring during the shipping of the product for service.

Warranty Void Conditions

• If the product identification or serial number label is removed or defaced in any way.
• If the product is serviced or repaired by anyone other than Aputure or an authorized Aputure dealer or service agency.
