Powertrain
The Corolla Cross offers both excellent driving performance and fuel efficiency. Its 2.0-Liter Dynamic Force 4-Cylinder engine and Direct Shift CVT, paired with its lightweight body, allow the Corolla Cross to produce an impressive 169 Horsepower2 and 150 lb.-ft. of Torque with a towing capacity1 of 1,500 lbs.

» Direct Shift CVT
EPA-estimated Fuel Economy3
» 31/33/32 (FWD) » 29/32/30 (AWD)
Drivetrain
All Corolla Cross grades offer a FWD or an AWD option. Toyota's Dynamic Torque Control all wheel drive system, also found in RAV4 and Camry, can direct up to 50% of power to the rear wheels when slippage is detected, but disengages when extra traction is not needed to help with fuel economy.

Suspension
Front: » MacPherson Strut Suspension
Rear: » FWD: Torsion Beam · Allows for more cargo space than AWD models · Lighter weight than multi-link, contributing to improved FWD fuel economy · Excellent ride comfort
» AWD: Multilink · Added handling and stability while maintaining ride comfort

Premium Convenience Features
Smart Key5
The Smart Key System5 on the front doors and liftgate provides remote keyless entry with lock, unlock, and panic functions, and push button start for added convenience. The Smart Key System11 comes standard on LE and XLE models.

Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)24 with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert25
Blind Spot Monitor24 provides an extra layer of awareness by alerting the driver when a vehicle is detected in the blind spot on the right or left. The visual indicator lights up on the side rearview mirrors of the corresponding side warning the driver before potentially changing lanes. Rear Cross Traffic Alert25 works similarly when the driver is backing out of a driveway or parking lot. Visual and audible warnings alert the driver of approaching traffic when detected from either direction. It comes standard on the LE and XLE models.
Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking26
Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking26 uses sonar to detect static objects in front of or behind the vehicle when driving at low speeds. In addition to providing visual and audible alerts, the system may also reduce drive force or may apply the brakes if there is a possibility of a collision. This system comes standard on XLE.
Blind Spot Monitor24 with Rear Cross-Traffic Brake38
This system works similar to Blind Spot Monitor24 with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert25, but may also reduce drive force or may apply brake force if there is a possibility of a collision with a rear-crossing vehicle. This system is standard on XLE.
Adaptive Front Lighting23
Adaptive Front Lighting23 uses driving conditions to enhance lighting, providing drivers with a larger field of vision in the dark by following the front wheels while turning to enhance nighttime visibility. The added visibility helps drivers spot potential hazards on the road. Adaptive Front Lighting23 is available on the XLE model.

See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
34. Brake Assist (BA). Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take advantage of ABS and is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper vehicle maintenance, tire and road conditions. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
35. Smart Stop Technology. Smart Stop Technology operates only in the event of certain contemporaneous brake and accelerator pedal applications. When engaged, the system will reduce power to help

the brakes bring the vehicle to a stop. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver input can all impact stopping distance. Smart Stop Technology is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving and does not guarantee instant stopping. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
36. Airbag. Airbag systems are Supplemental Restraint Systems and are designed to inflate only under certain conditions and in certain types of severe collisions. To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating airbag, always wear seatbelts and sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible. Do not put objects in front of an airbag or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
37. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The Tire Pressure Monitor System alerts the driver when tire pressure is critically low. For optimal tire wear and performance, tire pressure should be checked regularly with a gauge; do not rely solely on the monitor system. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
38. Rear Cross-Traffic Braking (RCTB). Do not rely exclusively on the Rear Cross-Traffic Braking system. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm rear clearance. The system cannot prevent all collisions, and performance is dependent on road, weather and vehicle conditions. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
All information presented herein is based on data available at the time of posting, is subject to change without notice and pertains specifically to mainland U.S.A. vehicles only.
