This manual will help you safely operate and use your new Ebike. It is essential to read all the information in this manual before riding. Please keep this manual and any other accompanying documents that came with the packaging for future reference. The content of this manual may be subject to change, so please visit the Heybike official website to check and download the latest version. Due to the unpredictable nature of riding, this manual does not make any representations regarding safe use under all conditions. The rider assumes full responsibility for any unforeseen risks during Ebike usage.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To all riders under 16 years old, obtain parental permission before riding an electric bicycle.

The owner's manual provides important operation and maintenance instructions for your Ebike. Read the owner's manual carefully before riding and save it for future reference. Failure to follow any instructions in the owner's manual may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - When using this product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all the instructions before using the product.
- To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children.
- Do not put fingers or hands into the product.
- Do not use this product if the flexible power cord or output cable is frayed, has broken insulation, or any other signs of damage.
- This equipment is not intended to be used at ambient temperatures less than -10 °C or above ambient temperatures of 40 °C.
- The battery is intended to be charged when the ambient temperature is between 0 °C and 40 °C. Never charge the battery when ambient temperatures are outside this range.

Product Safety Notice
- Always wear a helmet when riding your electric bike.
- Please keep the bike key secure. If the key is lost, you will not be able to start your e-bike or replace the battery. If necessary, you can obtain spare keys (Heybike does not provide or sell spare keys).
- Ensure your electric bike is fully charged before taking it out to ride.
- Strictly adhere to local road regulations.
- Do not ride an Ebike after consuming medication or alcohol.
- Always respect pedestrians.
- Avoid use under rainy conditions as it may result in potential injuries caused by slippery roads. Moisture can also damage electronic components and void the warranty.
Warning Message
- Avoid Water - The electric bicycle is not waterproof, and electronic components may be damaged by water, voiding the warranty policy. Riding in wet conditions is also highly dangerous and may result in injury.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heavy rain. Store the bike in a place free from high temperatures or corrosive gases.
- Avoid Misuse - Heybike does not provide warranty coverage for physical damage as a result of extreme riding or lack of routine maintenance.
- When riding the electric bicycle, there is a risk of severe injury or even death due to loss of control, collision, or falls. Please ride cautiously and be aware of potential riding risks.
- Modifying the product beyond the original manufacturer's design is strictly prohibited.
- Do not exceed the speed limits set by authorities in your local area and comply with all traffic regulations.
- Avoid direct contact between the human body and the charging port. Also, prevent the charging port from coming into contact with metal objects.
- Before riding - Conduct a thorough inspection of the electric bicycle to ensure all components are functioning properly. Check whether the braking system is operating correctly and become familiar with the safety warning content. Ensure that the axle protection device, chain guard, or any other covers or protective devices provided by the manufacturer are in place and in usable condition.
- Do not exceed the maximum total payload of 440 lbs.
- The electric bike should never be used by children under the age of 16.
- You may need additional insurance coverage to protect against specific situations that may arise while riding the electric bicycle. Heybike recommends contacting an insurance company or broker for advice or consultation.
- To conserve power, use the assist mode, avoid frequent braking, riding against strong winds, carrying heavy loads (including passengers), and riding with low tire pressure.

Assembly Instructions
Follow these instructions for unboxing and assembling your new Ebike. For detailed videos and assistance, visit www.heybike.com. If you are unable to assemble it yourself, consider taking it to a bicycle shop.
Step 1: Front Wheel Installation
- Remove the protective shield from the disc brake.
- Insert the front wheel hub axle into the front fork and secure it.
- Assemble the screws and washers in the correct order and tighten both sides.
- Put on the screw cover.
Step 2 - Head Tube Installation
- Loosen the Allen screw and remove the protection mold while holding the top of the front fork.
- Install the stem.
- Loosen the four Allen screws.
- Place the cover onto the handlebar and tighten all four Allen screws.
- Adjust the handlebar height to your needs and tighten the Allen screws on the stem. (Tip: Keep holding the top of the front fork).
- Ensure the handlebar stem is aligned with the top tube and adjust the handlebar in place. Tighten the two screws.
- Cover the hole with the rubber stopper.
Step 3 - Fender & Headlight Installation
- Remove the nut, washer, and bolt at the top of the front fork.
- Install the mudguard and headlight in sequence.
- Remove the nut, washer, and bolt at the bottom of the front fork. Slide the fender through the fork and reattach the lower fender screws.
- Plug in the headlight connector. Carefully align the pins and notches, then press together to seat the connection.
Step 4 - Footboard Installation
- Separate the footboards into left and right.
- Remove the 8 screws on the left and right sides.
- Align the installation holes for the left and right footboards.
- Tighten all the screws.
Step 5 - Pedal Installation
- Locate the right-side pedal marked "R" and the left-side pedal marked "L".
- Thread the right pedal onto the right crank clockwise by hand, then tighten with an Allen wrench.
- Thread the left pedal onto the left crank counter-clockwise by hand, then tighten with an Allen wrench.
- Check the chain alignment by rotating the right pedal counter-clockwise. Ensure the chain runs smoothly through the drivetrain.
Note: If pedals or chain do not run smoothly, contact Heybike Support.
Adjusting the Front Suspension
The suspension fork offers up to 60mm of travel for smoother rides on rough terrain. It can be locked for increased pedaling efficiency.
- Lockout lever (1): Located on the top-right. Turn counter-clockwise to adjust resistance or lock the suspension. Turn fully counter-clockwise to unlock.
- Preload adjustment knob (2): Located on the top-left. Turn counter-clockwise (-) to soften resistance. Turn clockwise (+) to increase suspension stiffness.
Operating Instructions
Always follow basic precautions as outlined in the "IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS". Refer to "STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS" for storage guidelines.
Do not modify or attempt to repair the Ebike system, as this may impair handling, stability, and void the warranty.
Only charge the battery with the original charger (Model FY1505462000). Keep the battery and charger away from water and open fire.
Removing the Battery
Note: The battery weighs approximately 10 lbs. Handle with care.
- Ensure the bike is turned off. Insert the key and turn towards the "UNLOCK" icon. The battery will pop out.
- Hold the bike frame with one hand and the battery locking device with the other. Turn counter-clockwise to unlock.
- Remove the battery with both hands.
Installation: Ensure the battery is off before inserting. Align and push the battery into the frame mount receptacle gently. Press the battery to the frame with both hands to test its security.
To reinstall, align the slot at the bottom of the battery, insert it, and turn the key to the locked position.
Ensure the power switch is ON before riding. Turn OFF for long periods of inactivity or transport.
Battery Key Positions
The keyport has three positions:
- A: USB charger port
- B: Battery charging port
- C: Battery power button (I = ON, O = OFF)
Key Positions:
- Position 1: Key aligned, battery locked to the frame, ready to ride.
- Position 2: Battery is off and unlocked from the frame. It must be removed before moving or riding the bike.
Charging the Ebike
The battery can be charged while installed on the bike or removed.
- To remove the battery, turn the key to the "UNLOCK" position and pull the battery up until it detaches.
- Remove the rubber cover on the charging port. Connect the charger's DC output plug to the port.
- Plug the charger into a power outlet. The LED indicator on the charger will turn red while charging and green when fully charged. First, unplug the charger from the wall outlet, then remove the plug from the battery.
App Operation
The Heybike App provides additional features and information. It is continuously updated.
Basic Instructions:
- Open the Heybike App and enable your phone's Bluetooth.
- Click "Register". After registering your bike, you can use Bluetooth to locate your Ebike and assign it a name.
For detailed instructions, download the App from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store.
Display Settings
The digital display offers various features for your riding experience.
Functional Overview
The display includes:
- Battery level indicator
- Pushcart mode indicator
- Error code indicator
- Pedal assist (PAS) level indicator
- Light ON/OFF status
- Speed display (current, maximum, average)
- Mileage display (single trip and total)
- Bluetooth connection indicator (optional)
- Personalized parameter settings (e.g., wheel diameter, speed limit)
- Factory default parameter recovery function
Power on/off
Long press the [power button] to turn the display on or off.
Display interface switching
When powered on, the display shows Current Speed and Trip Odometer by default. Short press the [info button] to cycle through Trip Odometer, Odometer, Maximum speed, Average speed, and Voltage.
The display is operated using five buttons: [power button], [plus button], [minus button], [light button], and [toggle button].
Pushcart mode
Long press the [plus button] and [info button] to enter pushcart mode, where the Ebike moves at a constant speed. A specific icon will display. Press the [info button] to stop power output.
⚠️ The pushcart mode is intended for pushing the Ebike, not for riding.
Adjusting display backlight
Press the [light button] to adjust the digital display backlight between high and low levels.
PAS level selection
Press the [plus button] to select the PAS level (motor output power). Illustrations show levels 1, 3, and 5.
Battery indicator
The battery indicator has 5 bars. All bars are lit when fully charged. When the battery is depleted, the bar will flash, indicating it needs charging.
Error code display
If a fault occurs, the display will show an error code. Refer to the "Error Code Definition" table for details. Troubleshoot promptly, as the Ebike may not function correctly with an error.
Personalized parameter settings
These settings require the bicycle to be stationary.
- Press and hold the [plus button] and [info button] simultaneously for more than 2 seconds to enter the personalized parameter setting interface.
- Press the [plus button] to toggle between interfaces, then press the [info button] to enter parameter changing state.
- Press the [plus button] or [minus button] to select a parameter. Long press for addition, long press for subtraction.
- Press the [info button] to save parameter settings and return to the interface.
- Long press the [info button] to save settings and exit the interface.
Backlight brightness settings
01P is the backlight brightness setting, with three parameters (01-03), where 01 is the lowest and 03 is the highest.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter modification interface. Press [plus button]/[minus button] for selection. Press the [info button] to save and return to the general settings interface.
Metric & Imperial settings
02P is for metric and imperial settings: 00 for metric, 01 for imperial.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter modification interface. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select parameters. Press the [info button] to save and return to the general settings interface.
Rated voltage settings
03P is the rated voltage setting. This can only be viewed, not adjusted. Press the [info button] to enter the viewing state and press the [info button] again to return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
PAS level ratio value settings
To meet different user requirements, the speed of each PAS level can be adjusted by setting the PAS level ratio value.
Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and enter the next interface. Press the [info button] again to save the settings and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Pedal Assist Level (PAS) settings
04P is the Pedal Assist Level setting. Press the [info button] to enter the parameter change state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save the parameter setting and enter the power ratio value setting interface (6.4.1), or press and hold the [plus button] and [info button] to confirm and return to the main interface.
Wheel diameter settings
05P is the wheel diameter setting. The adjustable wheel diameter range is 8 to 32 inches.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press the [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save the parameter setting and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Speed magnetic sensor settings
06P is the speed magnet sensor setting, adjustable from 1 to 63 pieces. More activated magnets increase sensor sensitivity.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Controller current limit settings
08P is the controller current limit setting. Please do not adjust these settings.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Speed limit settings
07P is the speed limit setting. The adjustable speed limit range is 1 to 39 mph or 1 to 63 km/h. Maximum adjustable speed limits may vary by protocol.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
PAS sensor direction settings
09P is the PAS sensor direction setting. Please do not adjust these settings.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Pedal assist sensitivity settings
10P is the pedal assist sensitivity setting. Please do not adjust these settings.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Pedal assist magnetic sensor settings
11P is the pedal assist magnet sensor setting, adjustable from 5 to 12 pieces. More activated magnets increase sensor sensitivity.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Throttle mode setting
12P is the throttle mode setting. 00 represents normal throttle mode, and 01 represents the 6km throttle mode. When the throttle is turned off, the instrument enters pushcart mode.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Throttle level settings
13P is the throttle level setting. 00 disables the throttle; 01 enables it. If 01 is selected, the bicycle speed will only reach the maximum speed displayed by the throttle level when the steering angle is turned to maximum. If 00 is selected, the speed is not limited by the throttle level and can reach the maximum rated speed.
Press the [info button] to enter the parameter changing state. Press [plus button]/[minus button] to select the parameter and press the [info button] to save and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
Restore factory default parameter settings operation
dEF is the restore factory default parameter setting. dEF-Y will restore to default settings, and dEF-N will keep the current settings.
To enter the main setting interface, keep the speed at 0. Press and hold the [D button] and [info button] simultaneously for 2 seconds to enter the restore factory default setting interface. Pressing the [plus button] toggles to dEF-Y. Press the [info button] to confirm. The display will show dEF-0 for a few seconds, then automatically restore to factory default settings and display OFF. Press and hold the [info button] for more than 2 seconds to return to the normal display interface.
Trip odometer reset operation
The display records the trip odometer and odometer. The trip odometer does not automatically reset after turning off; it must be reset manually.
Enter the main setting interface, keep the speed at 0. Press and hold the [D button] and [info button] simultaneously for 2 seconds to reset the trip odometer. The main interface will flash during the reset process.

Maintenance & Storage Instructions
Cleaning and Storage
Use a damp cloth or a toothbrush with toothpaste for stains. Avoid corrosive solvents and high-pressure washers. Ensure the bike is off, unplugged, and the charging port is covered to prevent water damage.
Store the bicycle indoors in a dry, cool place. Prolonged outdoor storage or exposure to extreme conditions can accelerate aging.
Battery Maintenance
- Use the original battery pack.
- Do not touch battery contacts; keep them away from metal objects.
- Use the original power adapter.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
- Fully charge the battery after each use.
- Store the bicycle in a dry, cool place (50°F-77°F / 10°C-25°C).
- Avoid fully depleting the battery. Recharge monthly if not in use.

Limited Warranty
30 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEED RETURN POLICY
Heybike warrants the original purchaser that its products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a specified period. Heybike does not warrant that the product's operation will be uninterrupted or error-free.
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original owner of an Ebike purchased directly from Heybike. The warranty period begins upon receipt of the Ebike and ends at the conclusion of the stated warranty period or upon sale/transfer of the Ebike to another person.
The Limited Warranty is primarily for the replacement of defective components, including the lithium-ion battery, frame, forks, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware (collectively, "Covered Components").
Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Normal wear and tear of any Covered Component.
- Consumables or normal wear and tear parts (e.g., tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, grips, chain, spokes).
- Damage or defects resulting from: failure to follow manual instructions, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, improper assembly, installation of non-compatible parts, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper maintenance.
- Damage from power surges, use of improper chargers, improper maintenance, or water damage.
- Products sold by Heybike that are not Ebikes.
Heybike reserves the sole discretion to determine if damage or a defect is covered by this Limited Warranty.
