Assembly and Usage Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your electric scooter:
- Push the rear fender, separate the folding hook and fender hook, then lift the stem to a vertical position (as shown in the figure). Verify the scooter locks in the upright position, then gently try to fold it to confirm.
- Use an Allen wrench to loosen and remove the screws on the hook. After removing the hook and screws, ensure you remove the cover on the upper part of the stem.
- Place the console on top of the stem.
- Take the cord attached to the hook and bring it to the front of the stem. Pull the handbrake towards you and insert the round metal part into the hole. Pass the small silver cord through the solid part of the handbrake. Ensure the metal part on the red cord is fully pressed against the handbrake.
- Take the red cord and hook, bring them to the back of the stem, and reattach the hook using screws and an Allen wrench. (The red cable should wrap around the stem.)
This user manual will help you assemble and operate your new electric scooter. Please ensure you read ALL INFORMATION in this manual before starting to ride.
Important Notes for Riders Under 18 Years Old
It is very important to obtain parental permission before riding your electric scooter.
Before You Ride:
- Always wear a helmet when riding your electric scooter.
- Ensure the scooter's battery is fully charged before going out to ride.
- Always be aware of and follow local regulations.
- Do not ride the scooter while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Always show respect to pedestrians.
- Do not ride in wet conditions. The scooter may slip from under your feet, causing injury. Wet conditions can also damage electronic parts and void the warranty.
Warning Messages:
- Avoid water – The scooter is not waterproof. Electronic parts can be damaged by water, and water damage is not covered by our warranty. Riding in wet conditions is also very dangerous and can result in injury.
- Misuse – We do not cover physical damage resulting from negligent maintenance or excessive riding.
- Every time you use a GOTRAX scooter, you risk serious injury or even death due to loss of control, collisions, and falls. Ride with caution and at your own risk.
- Do not make any modifications to the product that differ from the manufacturer's original design.
- Keep your hands and all limbs away from moving parts while operating the scooter.
- Before riding – check the scooter's condition and ensure it is functioning correctly before each use.
- Before riding – ensure the brake system is working properly; ensure all safety labels are in place and you understand the safety warnings.
- Before riding – ensure all accessory guards, chain guards, or other covers or protectors provided by the manufacturer are in place and not damaged.
- Before riding, ensure the tires are in good condition, properly inflated, and have sufficient tread remaining.
- Never exceed the maximum load capacity of 264 lbs (120 kg).
- Electric scooters must not be used by children under 13 years old.
- Maximum speed: Your electric scooter has a maximum speed of 25 km/h.

Remove all packaging materials and then inspect each item for any damage that may have occurred during shipping.

Carrying and Transport
Folding and Carrying:
- Straighten the stem and lift it to a vertical position (as shown in the figure).
- Press the folding lever as shown in the figure to lock the stem.
- Tuck the exposed cable into the stem and then insert the console into the stem.
Efficient Energy Use and Charging
You must fully charge the battery before using the scooter.
- Open the rubber charging port cover.
- Insert the charging plug into the port.
- The charger will have a green light when fully charged and a red light while charging.
- After finishing the charging process, ensure you close the charging port to keep it free from dust and debris.
- Charging Time: Approximately 6 hours.
Charging Requirement: Ensure you charge your scooter at temperatures not exceeding 104°F (40°C) or below 32°F (0°C).
Cleaning, Maintenance, and Repair Information
- Before use, check the tire tread for wear, cracks, and ensure proper front and rear tire pressure, and that the riding system is functioning correctly.
- Check the brake system is functioning properly before each use.
- Periodically check and maintain the condition of the scooter's parts.
- Do not make any modifications or changes to the scooter.
- Regularly check the tightness of various bolted components, especially wheel axles, the folding system, the steering system, and the brake lever.
- If you cannot resolve an issue (e.g., worn parts, replacement of electronic components, etc.), please contact the Service Provider.
WARNING!
Like any mechanical component, the scooter is subjected to high stresses and wear. Various materials and components may react differently to wear or fatigue. If the expected service life for a component is exceeded, it may break suddenly, potentially causing injury to the user. Cracks, scratches, and discoloration in areas subjected to high stress indicate that the component's service life has been exceeded and it needs replacement.
Daily Cleaning of the Scooter
If there are stains on the scooter's surface, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of clean water.
Tips: Do not clean with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other abrasive and volatile chemical solvents, as this can seriously damage the scooter's appearance and internal structure.
Do not spray or wash with a high-pressure water gun.
Ensure the electric scooter is turned off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the charging port's rubber cover is tightened, otherwise, electric shock may occur.
Human and Environmental Health Information and Usage Error Warnings
Safety Precautions:
- Always stay away from obstacles.
- When passing over speed bumps, elevator door sills, uneven roads, or other rough surfaces, maintain your speed between 5-10 km/h. Bend your knees slightly to better adjust to these surfaces. (Illustration: Rider on scooter approaching a speed bump, speedometer showing 5-10 km/h)

- Do not accelerate while walking next to the scooter.
- Unless otherwise specified by local laws, riding on public roads, highways, and motorways is prohibited and illegal.
- Do not suddenly change direction at high speeds.
- Do not hang bags or other heavy items on the handlebars.
- Do not ride on one foot.
- Do not accelerate downhill; brake in time to slow down. If you encounter a steep slope, you must dismount and push the scooter.

Consumer Choice Rights
In case the product is found to be defective, the consumer can exercise one of the rights stipulated in Article 11 of Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers:
- a- Withdrawal from the contract,
- b- Requesting a discount on the sales price,
- c- Requesting free repair,
- d- Requesting replacement of the sold item with an identical defect-free item.
If the consumer chooses the right to free repair, the seller is obliged to repair or have the product repaired without charging any fee for labor, replacement parts, or any other cost. The consumer can also exercise the right to free repair against the manufacturer or importer. The seller, manufacturer, and importer are jointly and severally liable for the consumer exercising this right.
If the consumer exercises the right to free repair, and the product:
- Re-fails within the warranty period,
- The maximum time required for repair is exceeded,
- It is determined by the authorized service station, seller, manufacturer, or importer, through a report, that the repair is not possible; the consumer can demand a refund, a price reduction proportional to the defect, or, if possible, replacement of the item with an identical defect-free item from the seller. The seller cannot refuse the consumer's request. If this request is not fulfilled, the seller, manufacturer, and importer are jointly and severally liable.
In case of disputes regarding the exercise of warranty rights, the consumer can apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court at their place of residence or the place where the consumer transaction was made.
