Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE.
- This Appliance is not intended to be used by children under 8 or anyone lacking knowledge on proper use. Supervision may be necessary. Do not allow children to play with the Appliance.
- Do not use the Appliance in extremely hot, cold or humid environments (below 0°C/32°F, above 40°C/104°F, above 65% humidity). The Appliance can be used to clean outside windows if it is properly tethered to the Safety Pod, winds are calm, and it is not raining or snowing.
- Please ensure the Appliance is plugged in while it is cleaning. The Appliance has a Back-Up Battery that charges during use. The Back-Up Battery powers the Appliance if it becomes unplugged or the electricity fails.
- Do not leave the Appliance unattended when it is plugged in.
- For household use ONLY. Do not use the Appliance in commercial or industrial environments.
- Do not use the Appliance on cracked glass.
- Only use accessories recommended or supplied by the manufacturer. Only use the Power Adapter supplied by the manufacturer.
- Please make sure your power supply voltage matches the power voltage marked on the Power Adapter.
- Do not use the Appliance on a framed window with a frame smaller than 5mm (0.2 inches).
- Do not use the Appliance on wet or greasy windows.
- Store the Appliance away from heat and flammable materials.
- Do not use the Appliance if it does not firmly attach to the glass or has visible signs of damage.
- To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put the Appliance in water or other liquid. Do not place or store Appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
- Do not touch power plug or the Appliance with wet hands.
- Do not charge the Appliance in extremely hot or cold environments, or it may affect battery life span.
- When charging the Appliance, do not place it on other electrical appliances and keep it away from fire and liquid.
- Take care not to damage the power cord. Do not pull on or carry the Appliance by the power cord, use the power cord as a handle, close a window on the power cord, or put heavy weights on the power cord. Keep power cord away from hot surfaces.
- Do not use with a damaged power cord or receptacle. Do not use the Appliance if it is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, or come in contact with water. It must be repaired by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
- The plug must be removed from the receptacle before cleaning or maintaining the Appliance. Do not unplug the Power Adapter by pulling on the power cord.
- The Back-Up Battery must be removed and discarded according to local laws and regulations before disposal of the Appliance.
- The Appliance must be disconnected from the receptacle before removing the battery for disposal of the Appliance.
- Please dispose of used batteries according to local laws and regulations.
- Do not incinerate the Appliance even if it is severely damaged. The battery can explode in a fire.
- The Appliance must be used in accordance with the directions in this Instruction Manual. ECOVACS ROBOTICS cannot be held liable or responsible for any damages or injuries caused by improper use.
- To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an appliance is used near children.
- Do not contact moving parts.
- Risk of Electric Shock. Do not expose to rain, store indoors.
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or energizing appliance that have the switch on invites accidents.
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
- Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
- Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
- Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130°C may cause explosion. The temperature of 130°C can be replaced by the temperature of 265°F.
- Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
- Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
- Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
- The minimum ambient temperature for battery storage is -30°C, and the recommended ambient temperature range for charging is 4°C to 40°C.
- When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

FCC Statement and RF Exposure Warning
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

RF exposure warning
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. To satisfy FCC&IC RF exposure requirements, a separation distance of 20 cm or more should be maintained between the antenna of this device and persons during device operation. To ensure compliance, operations at closer than this distance is not recommended.

Quick Start
- It is recommended to add tap water into the Water Tank. The maximum volume of the Water Tank is about 60 ml, and it can spray for about 60 minutes when the Water Tank is full. [Illustration: Pouring water into the WINBOT tank, showing 'Maximum: 60ml']
- Wet and wring out the Wiping Pad and place it flat on the velcro at the bottom of WINBOT. Pay attention to align the narrow and wide side accordingly. [Illustration: Wiping pad being prepared and attached to the WINBOT base]
- Connect WINBOT Compound Cable, Power Adapter, and Plug. Please ensure the battery is fully charged before using. Charging time will be approx. 4 hours. [Illustration: WINBOT unit connected to power adapter and plug]
* Do not power off WINBOT while it is running, as it may pose a risk of falling.
- Tie the Safety Rope. Properly tie the Safety Rope to a stable object that cannot be easily moved (e.g., table leg, chair leg, bed leg, sofa leg, curtain rod, stair handrail, etc.), and lock the carabiner as shown below. [Illustration: Safety rope tied securely to a table leg]
Note: When WINBOT is working, make sure there is someone nearby to supervise. When WINBOT is operating, ensure no people or animals are directly underneath, nor any valuable or fragile objects.
- Long press START button for 2 seconds to start the fan. Place the bottom side of WINBOT (the side with Wiping Pad) against the window; WINBOT will auto-attach itself and start cleaning. *Before cleaning, please observe the area to attach WINBOT for any small particles. If there are any, please remove them or switch to a particle-free area to avoid scratching the glass.
*Clean the Wiping Pad in time and make sure that any small particles on it are completely removed to avoid scratching the glass.
- When cleaning is completed, WINBOT automatically returns to the Initial Spot and waits to be removed. At this point, long press START button for 2 seconds to stop the fan. Then, take WINBOT off according to voice prompts. *If the vacuum glass, which WINBOT is working on, is leaking, remove WINBOT immediately after cleaning is completed.

- Scan the QR code at the bottom of WINBOT to download and install the ECOVACS HOME App.
- Open ECOVACS HOME App and follow the wizard to connect WINBOT.
