ST-2090D User Manual

The soldering iron needs to be tested before it leaves the factory, so the soldering tip may cover a small amount of tin, and the casing will be slightly yellowing, which is a normal phenomenon.

Safety Precautions

Caution: Misuse of this product may lead to serious injury to the user or material damage to the object involved.

To avoid electric shock or injury to the human body or fire hazard, the following basic rules must be observed when using the equipment. In order to ensure personal safety, only parts and accessories approved or recommended by the original factory can be used, otherwise serious consequences may occur!

WARNING: When using this product, the soldering pencil/soldering tip, with the temperature up to 80-480°C, may cause burns to the user or cause a fire due to improper application. Users shall strictly observe the following rules:

Users are required to have basic knowledge of common sense and electrical operations before using the product. Minors shall use the product under the guidance of a professional or guardian.

Operational Guide

1. Power Button

Turn on the device by connecting it to power. Set the desired temperature using the knob; it will be shown on the nixie tube display. After 3 seconds, the display will show the real-time temperature of the soldering tip.

2. Temperature Setting

While the device is operating, you can rapidly adjust the temperature using the temperature knob. The setting temperature will be displayed during adjustment. After stopping the adjustment for 3 seconds, the actual soldering tip temperature will be displayed. The temperature range is 80°C to 480°C.

3. Temperature Locking Function

To lock the current temperature, press the LOCK/°C/°F button for 3 seconds while the unit is in working mode. The temperature will not change when turning the knob, and the display will show "LOC". To unlock, press the LOCK/°C/°F button again for 3 seconds.

4. Switching Temperature Unit

Press the LOCK/°C/°F button simultaneously while in working mode to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). The indicator light for the temperature unit will change accordingly.

5. Auto Standby Function

When the soldering iron is not in use and is placed on the iron holder, the station will automatically enter standby mode after 10 minutes. The heater will be set to 200°C, and the nixie tube will display "STB". Picking up the soldering iron will return the unit to normal working mode.

6. Auto Sleep Function

In auto standby mode, the soldering station will automatically enter sleep mode after 20 minutes. The nixie tube will display "SLP", and the heating core will not be heated. The unit will return to normal work mode by adjusting the knob or pressing any button. (Note: The unit will auto sleep if it remains unused and no operations are performed.)

7. Warning

If "E02" is shown on the display screen, it indicates an error with the sensor.

Soldering Tips

The following soldering tips are available for the ST-2090D station:

Product Warranty

This product is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase (excluding consumables such as the heating core). If any quality problem is found within the guarantee period, ATTEN will provide maintenance free of charge. For products beyond the warranty period, ATTEN provides life-long maintenance services.

For products damaged due to users' improper application or unauthorized changes to the product parts, ATTEN only provides limited warranty service.

In case of a product fault, please send the faulty product to the designated maintenance shop for maintenance. Service centers and personnel unauthorized by the factory are prohibited from carrying out any maintenance on the product.
