Operating Instructions
Operation
- Place the dehumidifier on a smooth, level floor strong enough to support it with a full water bucket.
- Do not place on carpeting, as it can block airflow.
- Do not force casters on carpet; it can unbalance the appliance and spill water.
- For efficiency, operate in an enclosed area. Keep nearby doors and windows closed.
- Maintain minimum clearances: 20 cm (8 inches) on sides/back, 40 cm (16 inches) on top/front for proper air circulation.
- Recommended ambient operating temperature: 5°C (41°F) to 32°C (90°F).
- If the appliance is placed on its back or side, let it stand upright for 6 hours before plugging in to avoid damage to internal components.
- The default humidity setting is 40% with high fan speed. If ambient humidity is below 40%, the dehumidifier may not start automatically. Press the down button to lower the set humidity until it is below ambient humidity.
- For optimal performance, set humidity 10% lower than ambient humidity. Ambient humidity may vary up to 5% above or below the set humidity.
- Recommended setting in normal conditions: 40-45%.
- It is normal for the dehumidifier to exhaust warm air from the top.

- Smart Dehumidify: Automatically adjusts humidity based on room temperature. Humidity level cannot be adjusted; stabilizes between 45%-55%.
- Filter Button: Check filter light illuminates after 250 hours. Press after cleaning to resume normal operation.
- Continuous Button: Activates continuous dehumidifying operation.
- Fan Button: Selects normal or high fan speed. High speed indicator light illuminates.
- Timer Button: Initiates auto-start and auto-stop timer. Set start/stop time from 0.0 to 24 hours using (>) and (<) keys.
- () Buttons: Adjust humidity level from 35% to 85% in 5% increments. Press (<) for drier air, (>) for more humid air.
- Power Button: Turns the dehumidifier on or off.
- Display: Shows actual room humidity (± 5% accuracy) from 30% RH to 90% RH, or programming selections.
- Bucket Full Light: Illuminates when the bucket is full or incorrectly positioned. Compressor and fan stop. Operation resumes automatically when the bucket is emptied or repositioned.
- Auto Defrost Light: Illuminates when frost builds up on evaporator coils. Compressor cycles off, fan continues until frost melts.
Timer Function
Auto Off Function
- When the appliance is on, press the timer button to activate the auto-stop timer. The auto-stop light will illuminate.
- Press up and down buttons to change the set time in 0.5-hour increments up to 10 hours, then in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours.
- Press the timer button to confirm programming.
Auto On Function
- When the appliance is off, press the timer button to activate the auto-start timer. Set the time as per the instructions above. Press the timer button again to confirm programming.
The auto-on and auto-off functions can be used simultaneously. Both indicator lights will illuminate, and the display will count down until the appliance turns on or off, depending on the function set first.
Note: Timers function only once and then the appliance returns to normal operation. Setting the timer to 0.0 or turning the appliance on/off cancels the timer settings.
Memory and Auto Restart Settings
Each time the appliance is disconnected or reconnected, or in case of a power failure, it will default to the last program setting used. If the appliance shuts off unexpectedly due to a power failure, it will restart with the previous settings automatically once power resumes.
Water Removal
There are two ways to remove collected water:
1. Water Bucket
- The dehumidifier collects condensed water in the bucket. When full, the compressor and fan turn off, and the full bucket indicator light turns on.
- To empty, grip both sides of the bucket and pull outward. Be cautious as it will be full and heavy.
- Do not place the water bucket directly on the floor; its uneven bottom will cause it to tip and spill.
- Empty the bucket and replace it. The dehumidifier will not function without the bucket installed.
- Never tamper with the water level float system. Proper bucket installation is crucial for reliable operation.
2. Continuous Drain
- Water can be removed using the continuous drain and a standard garden hose (not provided).
- Before using, ensure all drain ports are clean and free of debris. There is one drain port inside the bucket compartment and one on the back of the appliance where the hose attaches. Clean all ports with a pipe cleaner prior to use.
- Note: Do not clean drain ports with anything stiffer than a pipe cleaner, as it can damage the appliance.
- Note: Clogged or dirty drain ports can cause leaks from the bottom of the appliance.
- Remove the cover from the continuous drain outlet and attach the female threaded end of the garden hose to the back of the appliance. Direct the other end to a bucket or floor drain.
- Ensure the garden hose is not bent and runs straight down from the back of the appliance. Continuous drainage relies on gravity; bends or upward motion will stop water flow.
- The garden hose should be cut to a maximum length of 1.8 m (6 feet). A hose that is too long may prevent complete drainage, leading to stagnant water and mildew buildup.
- Note: There is no drain pump; continuous drain operates by gravity alone.

Care & Maintenance
Air Filter
- Clean the air filter approximately every 2 weeks. More frequent cleaning may be needed if there is significant dander or fur in the air.
- The filter indicator light on the control panel will illuminate as a reminder. Follow these steps to clean the filter:
- The air filter is behind the rear intake grill. Grasp the filter tab at the bottom of the grill and slide it downward to remove.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove large debris or dust.
- Wash the filter in lukewarm, soapy water (below 40°C / 104°F) or use a neutral cleaning agent.
- Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly before reinstalling.
- Press the filter button on the control panel to resume normal functioning.
- Note: Do not operate the appliance without the air filter installed.
Cleaning
- To avoid electric shock, ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning or maintenance.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth or a lukewarm, damp cloth if necessary.
- Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner, or other chemicals, as they can damage the finish and plastic parts.
- Never pour water directly onto the appliance, as this can damage electrical components and wiring insulation.
- Ensure drain ports inside and on the back of the appliance are free of dirt and calcium buildup.
End of Season Care
- Ensure the inside of the appliance is dry before storing for the off-season to prevent mold or mildew growth.
- Ensure the filter is clean and dry.
- Store the appliance covered in a dry location.
Disposal
- This appliance should not be treated as regular household waste. Take it to an appropriate waste collection point for recycling of electrical components. Check local regulations for approved and safe disposal.
Error Codes
If the display panel shows an error code, unplug the appliance, wait 5-10 minutes, then plug it back in. If the error persists, call for service.
- AS - Humidity sensor error
- ES - Temperature sensor error
