Product Overview and Diagram
This document provides instructions for the Genius SP-HF500B speakers.
Diagram Description: The diagram displays two speakers. The right speaker, viewed from the rear, illustrates the connection ports:
- (A) AC POWER CORD: A port for connecting the main power cable.
- (B): RCA jacks intended for connecting satellite speaker cables.
- (C) AUDIO CABLE: A 3.5mm jack for the audio input cable.
Connecting the SP-HF500B Speakers
Follow these steps to connect your speakers:
- Place the speakers next to the monitor, one on either side.
- Connect the AC power cord (A) to a suitable AC outlet.
- Plug the satellite speaker cables (B) into the host speaker's "AUDIO OUT" RCA jacks.
- Insert the 3.5mm plug (green) of the audio cable (C) into the sound card or other audio source.
Control Functions
The speaker system offers the following controls:
- Power/Volume: Turn the Volume button to turn on/off the system power and to control the volume level.
- Headphone Jack: Accepts a 3.5mm stereo mini-plug from headphones.
- Line in Jack: Accepts a 3.5mm stereo mini-plug from MP3 or other stereo devices.
- Tone: Control the sound response.
- 3D switch function: Offers 3D sound and 3D + Bass modes.
WARNING
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on apparatus.
- Do not install this equipment in a confined or building-in space such as a book case or similar unit, and ensure well-ventilation conditions at an open site.
- The mains plug/appliance coupler/direct plug-in adapter is used as a disconnect device; the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
