Before You Begin
The Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360XL Deluxe will provide many years of delicious family meals and memories. It is important to read this entire manual to become familiar with the appliance's operation and precautions.
Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, always follow these basic safety precautions:
- Read all instructions carefully to prevent injuries.
- This appliance is NOT INTENDED for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person. Keep away from children and pets.
- ALWAYS place the appliance on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Intended for countertop use only. DO NOT operate on an unstable surface or near hot burners or in a heated oven. Ensure proper space and ventilation. Never operate near flammable materials. DO NOT let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- CAUTION HOT SURFACES: This appliance generates extreme heat and steam. Take proper precautions to prevent injury, fires, and property damage.
- DO NOT use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- WARNING: To reduce risk of electric shock, cook only using provided removable containers, trays, racks, etc.
- The use of accessory attachments NOT RECOMMENDED by the manufacturer may cause injuries.
- NEVER use an outlet below the counter.
- NEVER use with an extension cord.
- DO NOT use appliance outdoors.
- DO NOT operate if the cord or plug are damaged. If malfunction occurs, unplug immediately and contact Customer Service. DO NOT USE OR ATTEMPT TO REPAIR.
- UNPLUG the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before attaching/removing parts.
- NEVER immerse housing in water. If immersed, unplug immediately. Do not reach into liquid if plugged in. Do not immerse or rinse cords or plugs.
- The appliance's outer surfaces may become hot. Wear oven mitts.
- CHECK with your countertop manufacturer or installer for recommendations about using appliances on your surfaces. Place a trivet or hot pad under the appliance if unsure.
- DO NOT place your appliance on a cooktop, even if cool.
- When cooking, DO NOT place the appliance against a wall or other appliances. Leave at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) free space on the top, back, and sides. DO NOT place anything on top of the appliance.
- This appliance is intended for normal household use only, NOT for commercial or retail environments. Improper use invalidates the guarantee.
- ALWAYS unplug the appliance after use.
- EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- USE EXTREME CAUTION when removing trays or disposing of hot grease.
- DO NOT clean with metal scouring pads. Use non-metallic scrub pads.
- Oversize foods or metal utensils MUST NOT be inserted as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
- EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION when using containers constructed of material other than metal or glass.
- DO NOT store any materials, other than manufacturer-recommended accessories, in the appliance when not in use.
- DO NOT place paper, cardboard, or plastic in the appliance.
- DO NOT cover the Drip Tray or any part of the appliance with metal foil, as this will cause overheating.
- A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touching flammable material when in operation. DO NOT store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.

Warning
- NEVER put anything on top of the appliance.
- NEVER cover the air vents on the top, back, and side of the cooking appliance.
- ALWAYS use oven mitts when removing anything hot from the appliance.
- NEVER rest anything on the door while it is open.
- DO NOT leave the door open for an extended period.
- ALWAYS ensure that nothing is protruding from the appliance before closing the door.
- ALWAYS close the door gently; NEVER slam the door closed. ALWAYS hold the handle of the door when opening and closing the door.

To Replace the Lightbulb:
- Ensure the appliance is completely cool. Remove any accessories.
- Unscrew the lightbulb cover (top right corner, inside back) by turning counterclockwise. Remove the lightbulb by turning counterclockwise.
- Insert a new lightbulb and turn clockwise to secure. Reattach the lightbulb cover and turn clockwise to secure.
CAUTION: Attaching the Power Cord
- Do not use an extension cord.
- This model is designed for a 2-prong grounded 120V dedicated electrical outlet only. Do not modify the plug. Plugging other appliances into the outlet may overload the circuit.
- To disconnect, turn controls to off and remove the plug.
Electric Power
If the electrical circuit is overloaded, the appliance may not operate properly. It should be operated on a dedicated electrical circuit.
Important
- Before initial use, hand wash accessories. Wipe the appliance inside and out with a warm, moist cloth and mild detergent. Preheat the appliance for a few minutes to burn off residue. Wipe with a wet cloth. CAUTION: Upon first use, the appliance may smoke or emit a burning odor due to oils used to protect heating elements.
- The Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360XL Deluxe™ must be operated with the Drip Tray in place. Clean the Drip Tray when it is more than half full.
- Never operate with the door open.
- Never place the Drip Tray, Baking Pan, or any other accessory directly on top of the lower heating elements.
Parts & Accessories
The main appliance features sturdy stainless steel construction. Clean easily with a damp sponge or cloth and mild detergent. Avoid harsh, abrasive cleaners. NEVER submerge the appliance in water or liquids.
- 1. Main Appliance: Sturdy stainless steel construction.
- 2. Door Handle: Remains cool during cooking. Always use the handle and avoid touching the Glass Door, which may become very hot.
- 3. LCD Display: Used for selecting, adjusting, or monitoring cooking programs. It illuminates BLUE in selection/standby mode and ORANGE when actively operating.
- 4. Glass Door: Sturdy, durable tempered glass keeps heat in and helps assure even heat distribution. NEVER cook with the door in the open position.
- 5. Control Panel: Contains control buttons and knobs.
- 6. Crisper Tray: Use for oil-free fried foods and broiling.
- 7. Pizza Rack: Use for toasting, baking, grilling, and roasting.
- 8. Baking Pan (Optional): Use for baking and reheating. Deeper oven-safe pans may be used.
CAUTION: When baking or cooking with pans/dishes, always place them on a rack. Never cook directly on the heating elements.
- 9. Drip Tray: Place at the bottom below heating elements. Never use the appliance without it. Empty when more than half full. To empty while cooking: wear oven mitts, open the door, slide out the Drip Tray, empty, and return it.
- 10. Rotisserie Spit: Used for cooking whole chickens and roasts.
- 11. Rotisserie Stand (Optional): Used for holding the Rotisserie Spit upright when removing hot food. Use hand protection.
Warning
Rotisserie parts and other metal components are sharp and get extremely hot. Take care to avoid personal injury. Wear protective oven mitts or gloves.

Using the Pizza Rack
- Insert the Drip Tray below the bottom heating elements (at the very bottom of the appliance). [See Fig. i]
- Use the markings on the door to choose the shelf position recommended for your recipe. Insert the Pizza Rack into the desired slot [See Fig. ii] and then place your food on the Pizza Rack.
Using the Baking Pan
- Insert the Drip Tray below the bottom heating elements (at the very bottom of the appliance). [See Fig. i]
- Use the markings on the door to choose the shelf position recommended for your recipe. Insert the Pizza Rack into the desired slot [See Fig. ii].
- Place your food on the Baking Pan and then place the Baking Pan on the Pizza Rack [See Fig. iii].
Using the Crisper Tray
- Insert the Drip Tray below the bottom heating elements (at the very bottom of the appliance). [See Fig. i]
- Use the markings on the door to choose the shelf position recommended for your recipe. Place food on the Crisper Tray and insert the Tray into the desired slot [See Fig. iv].
NOTE: When using the Crisper Tray to cook food with a higher moisture content, use the Baking Pan below the Tray or Rack to catch any dripping juices.
Using the Rotisserie Spit
- Insert the Drip Tray below the bottom heating elements (at the very bottom of the appliance). [See Fig. i]
- With the Forks removed, force the Rotisserie Spit through the center of the food lengthwise.
- Slide the Forks (A) onto each side of the Spit and secure them by tightening the two Set Screws (B). NOTE: To support the food better, insert the Rotisserie Forks into the food at different angles [See Fig. v].
- Hold the assembled Rotisserie Spit at a slight angle (right side higher than left) and insert the left side of the Spit into the Rotisserie connection inside the appliance [See Fig. vi].
- With the left side securely in place, lower the right side of the Spit into the Rotisserie connection on the right side of the appliance [See Fig. vii].
- To remove cooked food: Insert a large fork into the food, twist left, and raise to remove the Spit from the left slot. Remove the food with a slight lifting motion. Transfer to a carving board or serving plate.
The Control Panel
LCD Panel Indicators:
- AirFry Fan Indicator: Indicates when the AirFry Fan is on.
- Preheat Indicator: Blinks until the set cooking temperature is reached.
- Heating Element Indicator: Indicates which heating elements are active.
- Toast/Bagel Darkness Indicator: Indicates the desired level of lightness or darkness of toast or bagels.
Controls:
- A. TEMPERATURE/DARKNESS CONTROL KNOB: Allows overriding preset temperatures and controls darkness in Toast/Bagel Mode. Temperature can be adjusted anytime.
- B. TIME/SLICES CONTROL KNOB: Allows overriding preset times and selects the number of slices for Toast/Bagel Mode. Time can be adjusted anytime.
- C. PROGRAM SELECTION KNOB: Use to scroll through preset modes.
- D. AIR FRY BUTTON: Activates Air Fry-style cooking. The fan can be activated for presets: AirFry, Pizza, Bake, Rotisserie, Slow Cook, Roast, Dehydrate, and Reheat.
- E. LIGHT BUTTON: Turns on the appliance's interior light.
- F. FAHRENHEIT/CELSIUS BUTTON: Choose temperature measurement method.
- G. CANCEL BUTTON: Cancels the cooking process. Hold for 3 seconds to power off the appliance (LCD reads "OFF").
- H. START/PAUSE BUTTON: Starts or pauses the cooking process.

Internal Temperature Meat Chart
Use this chart and a food thermometer to ensure meat, poultry, seafood, and other cooked foods reach a safe minimum internal temperature.
*For maximum food safety, the U.S. Department of Agriculture recommends 165° F for all poultry; 160° F for ground beef, lamb, and pork; and 145° F with a 3-minute resting period for other types of beef, lamb, and pork. Also review USDA Food Safety Standards.

MEMORY: The appliance has a memory feature for the last program setting. To reset, hold Cancel Button until LCD reads "OFF", then power on again.

Instructions for Use
Before First Use
- Read all material, warning stickers, and labels.
- Remove all packing materials, labels, and stickers.
- Hand-washing is recommended for accessories.
- Never wash or submerge the cooking appliance in water. Wipe the inside and outside with a clean, moist cloth. Rinse with a warm, moist cloth.
- Before cooking, preheat the appliance for a few minutes to burn off protective oil coating. Wipe with warm, soapy water and a washcloth after this burn-in cycle.
Instructions
- Place the appliance on a stable, level, horizontal, heat-resistant surface with good air circulation, away from hot surfaces, other objects, or combustible materials.
- Ensure the appliance is plugged into a dedicated power outlet.
- Select the cooking accessory for your recipe.
- Place food in the appliance and close the door.
- Select a preset mode by pressing a preset button.
- Adjust temperature using the Temperature/Darkness Knob ("TEMP") and time using the Time/Slices Control Knob ("TIME"). NOTE: For toast/bagel, these knobs control lightness/darkness.
- Press the Start/Stop Button to begin the cooking cycle.
NOTE: The appliance will beep several times when cooking is complete.
CAUTION: All surfaces are extremely hot. Wear oven mitts. Allow at least 30 minutes for the appliance to cool before cleaning or storing.
Tips
- Smaller foods require slightly shorter cooking times than larger ones.
- Larger sizes or quantities of food may require longer cooking times.
- Flipping or turning food halfway through ensures even cooking.
- Misting potatoes with vegetable oil before cooking can result in a crispier texture.
- Snacks normally cooked in an oven can also be cooked in this appliance.
- Use premade dough for quick, filled snacks; it requires less cooking time than homemade dough.
- A baking tin or oven dish can be placed on a rack inside the appliance for cooking foods like cakes or quiches, or for fragile/filled foods.
Adjustable Tray Positions
The Crisper Tray and Pizza Rack can be inserted into any of the four positions between the heat elements. IMPORTANT: The Drip Tray must be kept below the heat elements at all times when cooking.

Cleaning & Storage
Cleaning
Clean the appliance after each use. Unplug and ensure it is cool before cleaning.
- Clean the outside with warm water, mild detergent, and a soft cloth.
- Clean the door by gently scrubbing both sides with warm, soapy water and a damp cloth. DO NOT soak or submerge the appliance or wash in the dishwasher.
- Clean the inside with hot water, mild detergent, and a nonabrasive sponge. Do not scrub heating coils as they are fragile. Rinse thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth. Do not leave standing water inside.
- If necessary, remove food residue with a nonabrasive cleaning brush.
- Caked-on food on accessories should be soaked in warm, soapy water. Hand-washing is recommended.
Storage
- Unplug the appliance and let it cool thoroughly.
- Ensure all components are clean and dry.
- Place the appliance in a clean, dry place.

- Does the appliance need time to heat up? The appliance has a smart feature that preheats it to the set temperature before the timer counts down. This applies to all presets except Toast, Bagel, and Dehydrate.
- Is it possible to stop the cooking cycle at any time? Yes, use the Cancel Button.
- Is it possible to shut off the appliance at any time? Yes, hold the Cancel Button for 3 seconds.
- Can I check the food during the cooking process? Yes, press the Light Button or the Start/Pause Button and then open the door.
- What happens if the appliance still does not work after trying troubleshooting? Never attempt home repair. Contact the marketer and follow manual procedures. Failure to do so may void your guarantee.
