Getting Started with the App
Enhance your listening experience by downloading the JBL Headphones app. Search for "JBL HEADPHONES" on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
The app allows for greater control and personalization of your JBL Tour Pro 3 earbuds.
How to Wear
- Select the ear tips that provide the best fit for optimal audio performance.
- Insert the earbuds into your ears and rotate them to find the most comfortable and secure position.
- Use the "Check My Best Fit" feature in the JBL Headphones app to ensure a proper seal.
First Time Use & Power On
- Charge the earbuds and the charging case using the provided USB cable.
- To turn on, remove the earbuds from the case. To turn off, place them back in the case.
Power On & Connect
Your JBL Tour Pro 3 earbuds can connect via Bluetooth to your devices.
- For Android devices: Enable Bluetooth and look for "JBL Tour Pro 3" to connect. Fast Pair is supported for compatible Android phones (running 6+).
- For Windows 10 (v1803+): Enable Bluetooth. Your device should detect "New JBL Tour Pro 3" for connection via Microsoft Swift Pair.
For other devices, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and select "JBL Tour Pro 3" from the list of available devices.
Dual Connect + Sync
Use both earbuds in Stereo mode for immersive sound, or use a single earbud in Mono mode.
Multi-Point Connection
Connect your JBL Tour Pro 3 to two devices simultaneously. Tap the earbud once to switch between devices or hold for 5 seconds to manage connections.
Controls
Manage your music, calls, and noise cancellation features directly from your earbuds.
- Left Earbud (L): Control ANC, Ambient Aware, TalkThru, and access voice assistants (Bixby/Siri®/Others) with taps and holds.
- Right Earbud (R): Manage playback (play/pause, skip tracks) and access voice assistants.
Refer to the app for advanced control customization.
Auto Play/Pause
The earbuds can automatically play or pause your music when you put them in or take them out of your ears. This feature can be configured in the JBL Headphones app under "Smart Automation".
Silent Now Feature
Activate "Silent Now" mode by holding the earbud for 5 seconds to enable Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and disable Bluetooth for maximum quiet. Turn it off by holding again.
